I bought two of these blankets (Queen-size, white & gray checks) to take on an upcoming cottage trip. When they arrived and I unpacked them, they seemed not super soft but once they were both washed & dried they are very fluffy and cozy. These will be great for warmth without the weight.

Haven’t washed it yet, so can’t speak to effects of washing, but it’s soft and light. It will be better used in fall and winter as it is a bit too warm for summer. The color is far more of a reddish brown than depicted in the listing image, which is disappointing.

I purchased this knowing it was only 80x90 instead of the typical 90x90 queen blanket but I hoped it would be thin and lightweight based on some of the reviews. I wanted a blanket for summer that was thin and soft and was willing to sacrifice 10 inches to get it. This is soft, but unfortunately much too thick and warm for my purposes. It washed fine and is a nice color but I have other blankets of this thickness already and they are 90x90. I won't bother returning it and will keep it for guests who "couch camp" at my house but I would not recommend it.

I like my blankets light weight, breathable and soft. These are all that, and nicer than I expected; they are not a winter-warm blanket unless you use two or three of them. Two that I purchased are the expected color, but the Sage Green one is a very light tint of green and the picture is deceptive. Like you stirred a quart of Sage Green paint into a gallon of white. Since that is my only problem with the three, I am giving them 5 stars---but understand they're more of a summer blanket.
