This is a very nice lasagna/baking dish. The color is stunning and it does seem to cook evenly. Although I do have to mention that it is a heavy dish. So you have to give mind with the hefty weight of the dish with the added weight of what you are cooking. There is no lid but a foil film could reach across to cover it. ... show more

I'm like a kid that just got a new toy with this dish. First the color and finish on it are gorgeous and so well done. The size of it is perfect for prepping a two-person casserole. It's not too heavy. Would make the perfect housewarming gift for someone.

this is a wonderful piece of stoneware. its a little shallow for baking, but it cooks evenly and has a beautiful color. fits well with most decor and very functional in the kitchen. clean up is so easy.

Not only is this beautiful cookware- it cleans easily! Nothing is worse than desperately trying to get crusted baked food off your cookware and this is EASY! I do use a spray or butter before adding my recipe- but I am loving it! It also cooked evenly- our old metal pan was a gamble. This would make a great wedding or housewarming present. ... show more

    • Decent dish, but very small - 1.5 quarts?
I was reasonably pleasantly surprised by this item… Until I opened the box. I knew that this dish was on the slightly smaller side, given that it’s listed at 2 quarts. But I was OK 7with that. When the box arrived, I thought “cool, this really is a pretty decent size.“ But once I opened the box, I found that the ample size was caused by it’s being stuffed with a huge amount of (the worst kind of cheap shedding) Styrofoam, and the actual casserole dish is quite small by comparison. Furthermore, the box suggests – which is certainly obvious by the small size – that this is a 1.5 quart dish, not a 2 quart. It is quite shallow, such that it would be hard-pressed to serve more than perhaps a dinner side for three or four people, tops. The material is good, though, and it washes up nicely. It’s a nice conductor of heat, and it retains its heat very well, if you’re trying to keep something warm. So there are a couple of good things. But overall, I would not have added this to my kitchen arsenal, as I did not need another dish this small. So that’s where my disappointment lies. ... show more
