We used this rope with the Fusion Climb Aluminum Rescue Pulley in the Boundary Waters to hang our food bag up in the air between trees. It worked perfectly. The food pack was around 50 lbs on day 1. I ordered several different ropes for a new boat. A brand name 3/8" braided anchor rope, 4 brand name 3/8" braided dock lines, and this unbranded supoosedly 3/8" braided rope which i planned to use as a boat bow rope. The title says 9mm (with 3/8" in parentheses). Well...... it isn't even close to the same diameter as the dock lines and anchor rope. Also there was a bad fray about 2' from one end i had to cut out. I won't use this for my intended purpose. .... i guess it would be ok for light duty tasks, but it is not a true 3/8" nylon braided rope. I feel the title is misleading. ... show more

This rope is great to use. Only issue is with use and time it does tend to fray, when after repairs, which means you have to cut the rope cover to find the nylon and melt/glue it back onto the rope

The rope was used to replace the apron ties on the dishwasher aprons in our restaurant, after the original ties were torn off. The rope shows no sign of wear and tear, and the color has not faded.

Good strong rope for the money but will not hold up long to the elements. I used this rope for a tire swing on my kid's swing set and within a couple weeks the rope was almost white and now the outside layer has completely rotted off.
