I got the twin size and it is about 3 inches too short! I was able to wrestle it on the bed and I think it is very nice other than that. It is very soft and fluffy which makes it very comfortable but it still has a waterproof layer on the bottom to protect the mattress. This is on my guest bed so I will not have to take it off to wash it very often. It was very difficult to get on the bed since it is too short and would not be something a child could do on their own!

We are in the midst of refurbishing our home and bought a new queen mattress set for the spare bedroom. We left the plastic packaging on the mattress set because of all the accumulating dust. In the meantime, I ordered this ELVEN HOME Waterproof Mattress Protector when I saw the grey color like the mattress. When I took it out of the vacuum-packed wrapping, there was a slight off-gassing odor. Even so, I had already planned on washing it before I also noticed some loose threads. I did wash it in cold water on delicate and periodically stopped the washer to shift the protector around in the full tub of water. It was pretty bulky. Lint-like threads lay on it when I pulled it out of the washer for drying. I then dried it on a low temperature with Normal Dryness. Again, I stopped the dryer several times to shift the bulky material so that damp areas would also get dried. The filter did collect some lint but not a lot. No pilling from this first wash. The material feels soft, and the initial odor is gone. The seams and stitching appear well-sewn, and the wide elastic band around the whole protector will certainly help keep it in place on the mattress. The padding didn't appear to bunch up, but until I can actually place it on top of the mattress, I don't know for certain. As for being a waterproof material, that remains to be seen when used in the future.

Fits on my 13 inch tall hybrid mattress just about perfect, with no shifting or bunching up. The padded section adds just enough comfort to my firm mattress without too much squish. Easy to care for, machine wash and dry with cool water and low heat. Can't ask for much more!

The padding is nice and plush and is made more durable than the average mattress cover. This is perfect for anyone who has pets and they are a little rough on your bedding. This is a really really well made mattress cover. It is extremely soft and comfortable. I tried to show the thickness of the padding as well as the stitching. It’s top rate! The only drawback is the gray color is a little too deep and shows through a white sheet. Doesn’t matter to me, once the top sheet is on and the blanket quilt, no one sees it anyway. I highly recommend!!!
