We're planning a kitchen remodel and will be mounting this as an 'under' but in the meantime this sink is replacing our old cast iron porcelain sink as an 'over.' It arrived in good shape and is a perfect fit for the cutout of our old sink. It's attractive and extremely similar to one we were considering at our 'member only' warehouse store. That one is considerably more money, but comes with the faucet, but we didn't like the faucet. I love the extras, the grate, cutting board, and drying rack. The offset drain actually works perfect for our scenario, as it's exactly where the right side of our old two section sink drain sits. The price is very fair, just under $250.

I love the way the sink looks and functions in my kitchen. The price for quality was excellent value. The accessories it came with are a good quality as well, and I appreciate that it came with extra rubber feet for the bottom rack. It was one of the only sinks with the offset drain I could find that would ship to me in Alaska. I also looked for a sink I could specifically install as a drop in for now, and later switch it to an undermount sink when we are ready to replace our counter tops. The only reason it lost a star was due to the installation clips. The undermount installation clips were not great to work with. They fit in the front and back of the sink without any trouble, however they don't grab onto the counter well, as you tighten the clips they want to spring off the edge of the counter. But worse was on the side of the sink, the clips didn't fit beside the sink they were too wide and wouldn't work, so I had to find an alternative way to attach the sides of the sink at the front. Now that it is installed I don't forsee any issues.

We ordered this sink for our new kitchen. I love the large work area. 9x22" is a really nice size when you do a lot of cooking or canning, and we do. The height is perfect. The sink installs easily and looks absolutely great. The quality is there. Our old place had a thin metal sink, this Elkay sink is 1000 times better. The rust resistance is so appreciated! The dimensions are very important to have in advance to make sure it'll fit for you. At $232, it's pricey, but for what you get, it's a good value.

The design of this sink allows for undermount installation while having the faucet sit recessed from the counter on the back ledge of the sink. This keeps water from the faucet contained in the sink, compared to other designs where the faucet mounts flush with the counter. The small shelf for the included accessories makes containing food prep in the sink easy. All around excellent, well-thought-out design. The stainless steel is thick, has a bright and smooth finish, and is easy to keep clean. Should last a very long time, if not a lifetime. 9-inch depth is a solid choice, versatile for prep, dishes, and soaking. Reasonably priced, easy 5-star recommendation.

So first thing you want in a sink is a good gauge of stainless. 20, 21, 22 are all too thin and can't support a kitchen faucet properly without some form of reinforcement, plus they dent easily. This has 18 gauge which is a good gauge, not great but definitely a solid performer in this price range. 16 gauge is great but you will be looking at around a 300 dollar plus sink without the drain or any other accessories like the metal strainer rack for the bottom. This sink also has sound deadening material at the bottom and sides to help cut down on water noise and when folks just drop things into the sink. It can be mounted as a drop-in or under sink mount which is perfect to match your needs, I went with the under sink mount ad I think it provides a cleaner look and is also easier to clean. The single drain also didn't bother me and I actually prefer it over a 2 drain hole system. There is less plumbing and the divider of the 2 bowls also takes up space. This sink came with every you would want in a new sink. Yes you can still hookup your garage disposal to a single hole sink. With the single hole being offset like this one you only lose space under your sink in the cabinet on one side and gain all the extra space in the middle and on the left.

I thought it would be more of a substantial mat, whereas it's just a piece of fireproof plastic with a binding , but it seems like it would work and looks okay enough.

This is a huge sink. We installed it in our laundry room, and it's massive size is perfect for pre-treating clothing and washing outdoor clothing or shoes or giving them a rinse down. The quality has been very good so far, with no issues with rust. It looks good and I think would work well as a regular kitchen sink as well. It was easy to install. THe surface is still shiny and scratch resistant so far.
