I've been searching for a solution on how to be able to move my camper trailer and flat bed trailer around my property without having to hook them up to my truck. This little gem solved the problem. It's perfect! Everything was included to install on my Cub Cadet lawn tractor. It was a fairly easy job (I'm and 74 year young lady) and I had no problem getting the job done. All I had to do was supply the 2" ball. Not only can I move my trailers when I need to, I can also hook up my little dump cart that has a pin hitch as well. The hitch is make from solid bar stock to it's very sturdy. It doesn't interfere with mowing, so there is no need to remove it. If you've been looking for a solution as to how to move a small trailer with your mower, this is it!

I installed this hitch on my John Deere S180. The hardware is very sturdy, and it fit my configuration perfectly. The only problem I had was the puny bolts. The kit came with 1/4 bolts with dinky washers that would barely hold the bolt head behind the tractor plate. I replaced all the bolts with 3/8” bolts and put a plate behind the tractor mount so they would not tear through. It is very sturdy now and happy with the setup to move my boat around. The boat and trailer I’m moving around at my house weighs about 2,000lbs.

I needed a simple way to move a trailer for both work and leisure, and this attachment did the trick. While the installation was a bit more involved than I initially expected, it was still straightforward and easy to complete. Works great with my John Deere X300. So much easier to negotiate a lawn tractor and a trailer V.S. a F-150 and a trailer in a back yard. Takes the tongue weight off the tractor by leveling off the trailer.

This has been great to use around the yard. My husband bought this so he can get our boat and trailer out of the backyard more easily. It is strong and has held up very well. He also uses it to haul limbs and leaves to the front for pickup.

I had to drill holes in the riser stem to get this to fit on my Cub Cadet XT1. Also I was able to get the bolts started on the mowers backing plate by reaching behind from underneath. Other then that was simple, and this now extends the usefulness of this Riding Mower. I do recommend. *** Update *** I was not happy with the install. The support bars were to long that caused the hitch to cant downward. Today I finally got around to cutting and welding the brackets to the proper length, to then find the bars were out to far from the main center support post. I had to cut spacers and again do additional welding. All in all quite a bit of work. It is now properly installed and supported, but in hind sight this should have been a simple bolt on. Three hours of cutting, welding, grinding, and repeated fittings to get this to fit correctly. Grrrr....

I have a John Deere X300 and the support arms were not correctly sized for my mower. The package comes with 2 arm length options. I had to use a spacer on each arm to make them work . It’s solid now and does the job.
