Just used this the other day and it is excellent. Small enough to fit on counter. I used cheap hot dogs and they looked and tasted like the expensive ones. Cooks evenly and leaves grill marks. Not heavy at all and cleans easy. Have not yet tried the bun warmer feature yet. Would recommend.

Top cover plate cracked while wiping off prior to use. Also feels like it’s going to fall apart during cleaning. Rollers aren’t sturdy and plastic outer unit squeaks when wiped off. Overall flimsy and poorly constructed. Still have it a shot and it overcooks outer layer but inside is left cold even after full 30 minute cook time. Will definitely return this item. ... show more

This is simply put, not the greatest. It does what it's supposed to, cook up the dogs and warm some buns, but I've had much better. If say the biggest drawback for me, and this is why it gets 3 stars, is that the rollers are nowhere near as clean as some others. Especially when cooking cheese dogs or ones with peppers, they get the oils and bits of cheese/peppers/whatever STUCK to them. It makes cleaning this a huge pain, and you might say "well, what do you expect?" I expect rollers that I only have to wipe down, simple cleaning, and there are certainly ones out there that are like this. It's not that cheap either for what you get. At this price I expected to at least have some good "non-stick" rollers. ... show more
