For years I had a keurig coffee maker. Every morning, fill with water, pit keurig cup in the machine and brew. Great! But I want another cup. Remove plastic cup, refill with water, put in another cup and brew. Finally I got tired of the long routine for 2 cups of coffee each morning. I decided to purchase this little 5 cup elite coffee pot. $20? Sure, ill try it! Nice small little unit. Gave me so.much counterpart back from the keurig maker. Put the grounds in the basket in top, put up to 5 cups of water in the reservoir and turn on the machine. In about 5 minutes I have 2 wonderful cups of super brewed coffee, the way I like it. Better yet, I put it on a timer, so when I get into the kitchen in the morning, I have 3-5 cups of coffee hot and waiting for me. All the coffee I need to get moving in one small pot! I'm so happy with the brewing quality of this little coffee machine that I gave away 2 expensive keurig brewers I had. No fuss, no muss with this little coffee maker. And the coffee is slow brewed for maximum flavor! You simply have to get this! You will not be sorry. Got to say...this little machine brews a delicious cup of coffee. I'm not really keen on the reusable filter though. It's a pain knocking it out and rinsing lotsa grounds out. We made two batches this morning. One with the reusable and one with a paper disposable. Both tasted the same and the disposable filter was dump and done. I would definitely recommend! ... show more

The pieces do not fit with each other easily. It requires a lot of "jiggling" to get the decanter out. But it is inexpensive and brews quickly.
