Works great 23 minutes to14 perfectly hard boiled (steamed actually) eggs. Then just put them in ice water for a bit and they peel wonderfully. I really love it. Eggs are so much easier now. It is smaller than I imagined but works perfectly. did not try the rice feature. The overlay for the buttons does not quite line up with the actual buttons. The buttons are a bit closer in but after using it a few times you get used to it. Can be a bit frustrating the first time because no matter how hard you press nothing happens. I had a cuisine art egg cooker before this one and it was nice but this one I like much better it turns off automatically and it Cooks more eggs at one time. Plus there's other items you can cook as well. All around great product

The very 1st time I used this, it malfunctioned. It didn't turn off and just about caught on fire. The control panel is not easy to use at all. They need to work on this one some more.
