I bought this to bake my AMPEX 456 production master tapes to prep them for digitization. They were suffering from binder hydrolysis (sticky shedding tape syndrome). Seems unreasonable to have to use this dehydrator for over 15hrs to dry sweet potatoes and apples for dog treats.

Does the job without excessive noise. Even flow around all pieces on the racks makes the dehydrating process better. Easy clean up, a simple rinse, a quick wipe, left to dry in between and you are ready for the next batch of items to dehydrate.
