Quality machining and anodizing. Fits perfectly on my MinnKota Riptide transom mount motor. The o-ring on this prop nut distributes the clamping force over a much wider area, I can't prove it but it makes intuitive sense that this would it less likely for the prop to break at the hub. The ability to attach and remove the prop nut without tools is also a nice feature "just in case" (assuming you carry a spare prop with you, which I do).

I purchased this after getting my fishing line inadvertently wrapped up in my prop with no way of removing it while out on the water. I was excited when I saw this adapter that could be removed by hand in case this ever happened to me again. I was hesitant to purchase this due to the other two reviews that said it didn’t fit flush on their 55lb Minn Kota Endura. Not sure if they ordered the incorrect one for their trolling motor or if they were sent the incorrect one, but the one I received fit perfectly flush and snug. The rubber ring was flush against the prop and I don’t have any concerns of it coming off. I haven’t had it on the water yet to see if there is any reduced noise or vibration, but that isn’t really why I bought it anyhow. So I am pleased with it so far!

I purchased this for my Minn Kota C2 55 pound thrush trolling motor, it doesn’t screw down all the way, bottoms out before it hits the rubber O-ring. It’s supposed to be flush with the propeller. There’s a 1/4 inch gap.

item is great. it does cut down on vibration but i think it may be a little to heavy for the lower end of the advertised motor size. could just be me but..... a lighter one may be better for the 55lb thrust range

Does not fit flush with 55lb minn kota endura. I have not tested operation yet.. Will be sure yo keep the original nut on hand just in case!
