I got this for my large cat who has back and leg problems. He is able to sit upright and eat/drink perfectly. I have it on the highest setting and its very sturdy. The fit is tight and i doubt it would ever become wobbly The mat is good, quite heavy. I don't need the mat for where the stand is but it will still get used on the wood floor for the other cats and their bowls. I highly recommend washing the bowls multiple times before using. They had a lot of invisible manufacturing oil/residue which took a few a few cleanings to get rid of. I know this is normal so i don't hold it against the product.

My senior dog is having trouble with his hind legs, so I thought this would make it easier for him to eat and drink, and it does. I was going to buy a waterproof mat for underneath, so I was very happy to see that this feeding station includes a silicone mat and still costs less than many feeders. I like the wood instead of metal, and the stainless steel bowls are a must. Some I looked at only had 1 stainless steel bowl, the other one being plastic, which is not healthy for feeding (my previous dog got bumps on her chin, from using plastic bowls according to my vet). This is such a great value, especially because you can adjust the height and even angle the bowls if desired.

It’s a little wobbly but I still wish I would’ve got one sooner!!!! My cats adjusted easy and I worry less about them straining their backs and necks to eat and drink! I use it in my rv, because it’s off the ground I’m not running into it and knocking bowls over. Wobbly or not I’d buy this again!

Nice thing - very easy to put together in theory. Meaning just a few pieces and obvious how they go together. But they weren't very well made and the pieces didn't quite fit. The bolt like pieces to hold everything together - one side just didn't want to fit in the slot. The first few times I made it go but it was a struggle. The third time I did it, part of the structure broke - the part that was preventing the bolt from fitting. So 3 days in it broke. Now I can put the piece in without the struggle but it's less sturdy now...and broken. It's still usable at the moment but my second complaint is that it's hard to clean. This might not be an issue for everyone. My dog is old and blind with no teeth and she pushes her food all over the place. So a lot of the food ends up on the bamboo part and find that part never feels clean. I can take everything apart and wash it but it still feels like it's not clean. I ended up getting another elevated bowl system made of plastic which feels easier to clean. It's also much more complicated to put together. I really wish this one hadn't broken.

The Petnimal Elevated dog pet water and food dish is just what I needed for my aging dog!! He was having trouble eating from his regular food bowl due to the fact that he has multiple medical issues. We looked for a raised water and food dish to help him out. The tilt option is an added bonus. I am not sure if I will use it, however if he has any further medical issues then it will definitely be helpful. The stand is solid, it fits together very easily. Once put together it stays in place and does not move while my dog is eating or drinking which is important as you do not want to have to worry about food and water getting all over the place. Also I was pleased to see that it came with a rubber mat to place it on. I was thinking that I was going to need to go and purchase one but it came included. Very thoughtful sellers. I would definitely recommend that anyone purchase.

Our 28 pound Aussie doodle strangles when drinking from her water bowl on the floor. This elevated feeder is perfect. She did not like it in the tilted position and it took about a week for her to begin drinking from it without the tilt, but it’s the perfect height and she’s fine with it now. Does not choke when drinking from it. Extremely easy to put together within a minute and came in perfect condition. Highly recommend.
