I had to cut a few big holes in my bathroom to access some plumbing, and these fit well right into the drywall, even before glueing them in. They are kind of hard to pop open, which is a plus so the kids don't mess around with them. But once open, still gives me plenty of room to work in the space.

This access door came in handy when replacing our shower. We were able to install this panel inside a closet and give us access to the plumbing behind a shower. For our instance, it worked perfect. However, the quality of the piece itself seems relatively low. The plastic is flimsy and not confidence inspiring. If you are able to use this in a location that will not be accessed often and and will not be visible its perfect for the job. But, I would not install this on a visible wall in a living space unless it absolutely had to. The finished look is okay, but it is definitely noticeable. I would also not use it for access point that receives constant use/abuse as I feel like the tabs for the door would eventually break with constant use. ... show more
