I bought this for my sister-in-law to use on a Caribbean cruise with my wife and her sister. She tested it out and I will be using it next year on a Caribbean cruise I’m going on with my wife for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. This is a wonderful, beneficial walker that allows me to walk nearly pain free for long distances. I haven't been able to do that for years. My neck, back, knees, ankles. wrists and hands are so improved. I tried my old rollator just to see if I was imagining the improvement and immediately had pain all over. It is so great to walk upright without hanging your head, no pressure on my arthritic hands, no back pain and hardly any knee or ankle pain. This is the future of walkers. You can pay more but why...this is great and easy to adjust. I like the 10" front wheels because they go over small bumps without losing my balance. The only drawback is the crazy directions that tell you nothing. You have to rely on the picture on the box and you can get it together. They do not tell you about the tension nuts to hold the hand holds upright and I have yet to figure out how to put the cane holder on it. I can find no place and there are no instructions. So if you are handy, this is really a 5 star set up. It has done wonders for me. If you are a clutz or can't put something together without precise instructions, you might want to reconsider. Mind you it isn't hard to put together, you just need to figure it out yourself. Rolls steady, turns on a dime, I haven't felt any tipping sensations walking on uneven surfaces. I am going to put bicycle tires on it on the correct size as the tires slid a bit and I want rubber hitting the road but that is personal preference. I call this an excellent purchase to keep me independent. It was missing one of the hooks that the carry bag hooks on but cannot get any action from the company. I thought it might be a problem I have with my computer so I had a friend email them. He has not gotten a response either. This is a draw back I had not expected. ... show more

I love the way it gives me the support I need, it is extremely stable, it allows me to stand upright and allows me to walk normally. It has an amazing turning radius which allows me to turn completely around in a tight spot. I am short (5’0”) and I have been able to adjust the armrests to accommodate me. The seat is too high for me, and I need a folding step stool to get into it, and being short there are adjustment knobs on both arm supports that hit me in the shoulders (wish I could turn them so the don’t stick out into the seating area, but they aren’t adjustable. I have gotten a 3” cushion that lets me sit high enough so as to not hit them (they hurt). I just wish they made a model especially for short people rather than expecting everyone to be several inches taller than I am. Great product, and am keeping it. My husband loves it that I can actually get around normally again and so do I. If you are shorter than I am you will have difficulty using this, but if you’re taller, you’ll love it. ... show more

    • Love it! Especially the way I can stand up much straighter than I have in years while walking.
With the lower roller-cart, I was still humped over and putting too much pressure on my arms, wrists, hands, neck, and shoulders trying to walk . Then the gentleman came in to heart rehab with this "stand up" walker, I asked the brand name and was "he" pleased with it. Definitely YES on both counts! I went on line to Amazon.com, found Elenker and purchased one immediately. Couldn't be more pleased. It's sturdy, heavy enough I feel safe pushing it even though I'm 80. I have a place to sit when I give out, a cup holder to keep my water handy, a large zipped heavy duty canvas bag, that can be detached easily for personal items, or to keep them secure. The strap on the heavy flexible seat (that you pull up on to easily fold the walker to transport), I slip my smart phone under it so it's readily accessible when I'm walking. The bag has amazing reflective tape around it so that you're visible at night when any kind of light hits it. There are holders for your cane or umbrella, so seems they have thought of most everything. The unit itself is adjustable so the arm rests and the hand breaks fit you. I couldn't give them 5 stars for "easy to fold" because honestly I haven't folded it, but my husband says it's fine. The Elenker service team has been great to work with and immediately responsive. I've had this Elenker walker for a couple months now and couldn't be more pleased. It appears to be so well made, I'm sure it will give me years of service. Thank you, Elenker! ... show more

My dad is 5'11", 275lbs. He requested a walker like this after seeing another resident with one, where he lives. He has Parkinsons and quickly progressed from using a cane to needing a walker. But the traditional ones started hurting his back due to having to bend more to use them. He loves this upright walker. He said the pain in his back has eased. It has a pouch for items, a seat and cup holder. It is perfect for his height and weight. He even put it together when it was delivered. It is easy to collapse BUT it takes up a lot more room and is not as easy to put in and out of a car. As the person taking him to appointments, I noticed this right away. This is a nice idea, but I find the wheels are too large and slippery. The wheels are smooth, they need traction. The rods holding the back wheels are too long and cumbersome and if you’re NOT real intentional in operation, you could trip over those wheels. I’m stuck with this. Words right at the moment is enough to express how displeased I am. I have no way of trading it in. Because the wheels being so slippery, I have to try and keep up with the walker. I wish I could return it and get some of my money back. Or I wish I knew where I could go and change to different type of wheels. This is definitely a HAZARD!!! ... show more
