Yes it is comfortable, yes it is soft and breathable, def worth the money, but its not some super thick plush fluffy sleep cloud. Would I purchase it again, probably not would go a little bigger but this is for our guest bedroom bed which is already pretty comfortable, just gives it a little extra padding as well. I haven’t paid over $100 for a mattress pad but let me tell you I’d pay twice as much because it without a doubt is the very best I’ve ever bought. I’ve had 3 failed spinal and cervical surgeries leaving me in constant pain and agony day and night. My mattress would have to be turned often as I’m in bed most of the time and it’s a TempurPedic that weighs a ton! Won’t do that again. I opened it up and it seemed fairly thin, expecting a fuller pad and honestly had my doubts I’d have to send back. Nope! Voila! OMG I can sleep after 9 years of not being able to.
