Seems to be well-rounded and useful for a broad range of work that involves black. Depending on the needle cartridge, I'm able to shift from shades of gray to very dark shades of black with repeat passes. Viscosity is good and it sticks to the needle as well. I'm not an expert tattoo artist, but I'm more than satisfied with this ink and it feels like a premium step up from the other budget inks I've been using.

this is a really solid black ink, no pun intended. the bottle is really large for the price. the black is definitely workable for most stuff. its not as dark, solid black as some other brands. it works well for greywash and shading and is versatile. it flows nicely and heals well.

First thing I do when I get an ink is check the expiry date. I grabbed a picture before opening, because I want to make sure that if there's an issue and I report it, I send it back unopened. Ink is well within date. Element, while not my absolute favorite brand, is great quality, definitely top 3. Color always comes out amazing. I would recommend Element's inks over a lot of other brands. Specifically their black ink is one of the most versatile black inks in the industry and I would recommend their black ink over any brand for that reason alone. In one bottle you have the entire greyscale because it can be mixed, while a LOT of other brands will fall apart if you do that because the color is impure. Element has a pure black ink.
