I have used a fair amount of this, and I love the results. A word of caution for users though: I finally realized that my Bambu P1S tends to clog if the last filament used is one of these wood filaments. If my design lays down a plain PLA after the wood base, then everything is fine. But if the top layer is wood-based and the printer allows the wood to stay in the hot end after cooling, then the next reheat/purge cycle may not go too well. I had several less-than-enjoyable unclogging sessions before I understood what was happening. Aborted prints are also bad news. My plan is to fush with standard PLA after any print session that ends with a wood-based filament. Otherwise, I love it. ... show more

I was looking for pla woodfillment to print a small sculpture that was then going to be sanded and both stained with wood stain and painted. This stuff was fantastic. I did run it through a drying cycle before adding it to my AMS. The layer lines are very minor, and it accepted wood stain absolutely beautifully. By the time I was done cleaning up the surface and then stained it, it really honestly did look like wood the way that it absorbed the stain. I will definitely be buying this again ... show more

Filament is pretty good to okay. It is a bit brittle to begin with but prints fine if you dry it out before printing. Prints came out okay. Nothing to brag about but not bad by any means. It doesn't really give me that OAK feeling though. The color gives me more of a skin tone rather than a oak wood, which depending on your needs can work just as well. All in all, would buy again. The filament prints consistently with smooth extrusion and excellent layer adhesion. I used it on my Creality K2 Pro, and every spool was neatly wound with no tangles or feeding issues. The real wood particles give the finished prints a warm, natural appearance that is perfect for decorative items, lamps, and home décor. The surface has a realistic wood texture, and the prints look even better after a light sanding. I recommend using a slightly larger nozzle if you print a lot of wood filament, but with the right settings, the results are outstanding. ... show more

Random full or partial clogs. first, I'll say that this filament looks great, when it works. it definitely has a nice cement look to it. It can be printed fast for what it is. But because it has fine particles, they may build up in the nozzle and cause either partial clogging, which will lead to under extrusion, or full clogs that cause the print to fail completely. I have experienced this multiple times trying to print the same model on two different machines, one brand new, both using a 0.4mm nozzle. Large detailed models like the dice tower I had hoped to print with this seem all but impossible to achieve without clogging at some point and ruining the print. One of the pillars on this Tower broke off as soon as I touched it because it was barely hanging on with failed layers. the others show similar under extrusion problems, along with the spikes showing the same problem. At this point I have wasted two complete spools trying to get a model to print. This is after calibrating flow, temperature, maximum volumetric flow, etc. Then on this simple volumetric flow test , printed at 0.2mm layer height, it showed A partial clog and extrusion problems on a 15 minute print. It succeeded at the top so the speed isn't the problem. I printed at a standard 0.2mm layer height, so the layer height isn't the problem either. When I gave up and reached out to elagoo support, their only suggestion was to use a 0.6 mm nozzle instead, which I don't have and would need to purchase. This filament is listed as compatible with a 0.4mm nozzle, and advertises "No clogging or bubbling problems". That is completely innaccurate and blatant false advertising based on my experience.
