I like these blankets they’re lightweight although I have ordered others that are much thicker. There’s no pilling except for initially coming out of the box. I've ordered a few of these lightweight, velvety blankets from here. This one is nice and the price was great! I wish that my camera captured the true color because it is such a pretty turquoise/teal that matches my living room theme really well. There were some fuzzies coming off along the seams, but after a wash it seems okay. I use these blankets to cover my furniture from my pets, so they get washed often. I've ruined a couple because I used warm water and dried it with heat. Even though this one says machine washable, I've learned my lesson and will only wash on cold and either line dry or air fluff. ... show more

    • Very Warm Blanket; Just Don't Expect a Pattern!

General: I would say that this blanket is probably the blanket I was looking for, with some exceptions! Pros: First of this blanket is "Ultra-Soft!" The First thing you will notice about this blanket is how soft it is! It is softer than your favorite childhood teddy bear. Secondly, this blanket is large. If you think you are just going to get a plushy throw, you would be sadly mistaken. The king-size blanket is at least king-sized if not larger! Finally, this blanket is colorful, and they have at least 10 colors options shown on the front of the package! We like the turquoise color we received! Cons: First of all, the blanket, even though it may be king-sized, was supposed to be California-king size and it is barely king sized! Secondly, the pattern that is shown in the picture is not the pattern we received, at all. The blanket we received was a solid turquoise on both sides; so don't expect to get a pattern on your blanket! Finally, shipping was a nightmare. I know this is not fully on Amazon, but the shipping took way to long to arrive. If I had been ordering this for a time sensitive event, it would have missed the mark. The first time I placed the order, it never left New Jersey. It showed the package was scheduled to be delivered, but never left the UPS hub, if it even arrived with my Prime 2-Day Shipping. After waiting a week, Amazon finally admitted it was never coming and I attempted to request a replacement; however the automated system would not let me automatically reorder; I had to speak with a representative who tried to tell me it was delivered before they admitted it never arrived. The replacement order the representative placed was supposed to be on UPS 1-day shipping, but it took another 3-days to arrive. Conclusion: So all in all, if you want a soft comfortable blanket that is bigger than you are, to keep you warm in the middle of winter, this is the blanket for you! Just don't expected (based on my experience) to receive the same pattern as is shown in the picture, nor in a timely manner, even if you have Amazon Prime! ... show more

This is the 3rd one of these I’ve bought. The first was for my elderly father in law, my son loved Gramps’s blanket so much, I got another one. My daughter was so envious of my son’s blanket we got one for her over Christmas. Aaaand I’m going to be buying another for our own King size bed. These blankets are TOUGH, my 9 year old has dragged his all over the house, for over a year and it has survived EVERYTHING. Spills, stains, cold and flu…everything.
