I bought this particular wheelchair for its light weight, about 36 pounds (16.3 KG.) I weigh over 200 pounds and it is strong enough for my daily use. The ladies in my life can load it into the car for me. This wheelchair does well on smooth, hard floor but really struggles on carpet with a pad. Since it is very light, it is only strong where it needs to be, so take it easy with it.

I see that this item is out of stock. I want to review it anyway in case it comes back in stock and you are thinking about it. I bought this simple, foldable wheelchair because I am physically weak. It looked like it would be easy to use. Who knew that I could not even get it to unfold. Since unpacking this item, I have read and watched anything that I thought would help me figure it out. I read the post where someone else had a similar problem. I know that if I ever get this wheelchair to unfold, I will never be trying to fold it up, ever again. For folding the wheelchair, the instructions say, "Pull out the folding lever located under the backrest tube (as indicated by the red arrow in Fig. 1)." Well, the instructions are in black and white, and there is no arrow, anyway. But, I believe that I have found the "low bar" that the other poster spoke of, but the problem is that I can't move it. So, I plan to fool with it every now and again, but I don't expected to get it to open. Also, it did not come with a battery. Pretty useless without the battery. I could use it as a push WC, but then again, it won't unfold. This has all been extremely tiring. And I only wanted to use it to go up to my gate: I had no plans to take it in the car, or fold it for storage. I needed a lightweight, easy to manage WC that basically would help me to take out trash! I sort of buy things with the expectations that all might not be well with what I get, but I thought the problems would be in the electronics, not the frame. It's like the WC is saying to me, "Nope, not gonna help you out one bit!" What earns this item one star even? Well, it's solidly built. Just ask my tired arms. It is unblemished, clean, not dented in any way. I bought the bright blue color, which brightly smiles at me as it sticks its tongue out. The paint is intact. The wheels look good (I especially wanted no flat tires because I don't need pneumatics for a smoother ride.) It is frustrating to not be able to use it as it does seem like a good little chair. But, I am now going to save up for another chair, one that doesn't fold. Should have bought that to begin with. This item is not inexpensive. By the time I am through replacing it, I will have spent over $1500 for the least of the wheelchairs. I mean, really. I didn't even get it to open up. And, I can walk. I am just very weak. I thought I could handle this WC, it being 30 lbs. Well, it IS lightweight, for all the good it is doing me. Maybe one day I'll walk by it and kick it, and it will open up. But, not likely.

Update - We still don't know about this chair yet. It was ordered on April 29th today is May 20th and it still is inoperable. The company sent a defective power supply cord which is supposed to charge the battery for the electric wheelchair to operate. I requested a new power supply charger on May 9th it STILL HAS umber of NOT ARRIVED 10 days later. I gave it a 2 star rating because the customer service were nice. We were excited to receive the part from the company BUT they sent a battery instead of the battery charger. I even gave them the number for the charger, sent a picture of the damaged power charger, called, emailed, and had Amazon contact them MORE THAN 12 times. Not sure if I'm communicating with people or AI. I've never ever had this much trouble with a company in my life!!! The ONLY reason I am persistent is my 95 year old disabled mother is counting on this chair to Nice customer service but that's about all this company has. Also I purchased it because it's advertised as 33 lbs lightweight. Everyone says it's VERY heavy. NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED. To make matters worse they expect us to pay to ship it back??? They've Got to be kidding.

Great customer service! Received a damaged battery with the chair; sent a message to the seller and they shipped a brand new one out very quickly at no cost to me. No hassle! Just honest customer service the way it should be. I was impressed! Chair works great on hard surfaces. Folds and travels well. Not too bulky or heavy to load in the trunk. Both arms rotate up for easy slide in with a transfer board. Seat is exceptionally comfortable.

Beautiful chair and just what we wanted but we received a damaged chair. Inside packages were just shoved in the box nothing in the wrappers and battery won't charge. We received a return that this company taped the box and put back in stock and sent out again. NOT good ! Damaged goods need not to go back in stock and sent out to another customer. Very disappointed in this company to do this and now I have to do the return and send it back.

Nice chair- incredibly hard to close and transport. Has a low bar that you have to pull while manually closing the chair up- the bar is hard to move and the size of the chair to fold while pulling the bar in the opposite direction- is so hard- there is no way my mom can do it (my husband and I could hardly get it closed up or opened back up). Wouldn’t recommend based on this. Also- not all terrain. Doesn’t work well in our yard, there is no suspension, so wheels always spinning and not going anywhere. Plastic-like wheels.
