Worth the money. I've owned 2 other electric wheelchairs and 2 mobility scooters. Overall I think that this one is the best choice for myself. I'm 77 years old, 320 pounds, bad back, cancer survivor, and I am very limited walking range. This wheelchair has a decent top speed, appears to have good range, extremely easy to fold and unfold. Appears to be of good quality so it should last. In fact I'm thinking about getting another one for my brother in law. It was easy to remove from the shipping box - open top, remove Styrofoam, lay box on side, and pull it out of the box (no lifting required). Cut a few nylon ties with scissors, unfold it, attach controller to either right or left arm, slide battery underneath seat, plug connector cord into battery, charge it for four hours. Then take it for a test drive. I like that every time you start it/turn it on, that it starts off in the slowest speed. Just tap a button on the controller to go faster. I had to add the included spacers on the armrests for my comfort. If you are an experienced wheelchairer, then you probably already know that wheelchairs are much more maneuverable than scooters so they are preferable for indoor use. I can go across lawns and dry dirt trails with no problem.

When selecting this chair, I researched a lot of YouTube video reviews and Amazon ads and customer reviews, and believe I definitely bought the right one for my wife. This has many very good reviews, and they turned out to be true, both for the features of the chair, and for the great assistance of the company staff. Some of the key features that sold us on this: Few chair companies tell of having a warranty, which this does, and the staff even increased it to 5 years after communicating with them. The footrest is comfortable, and folds easily. The seat and back are comfortable, but you might want a little more seat cushioning if you need to sit in the chair for extended periods. We already had a gel pad that fit in the chair, so did not accept the company offer for a free inflatable pad. The back rest attaches to the frame with large pieces of velcro, so can be adjusted to change the desired degree of stiffness. I purposely was looking for chairs without standard wheelchair handles to not have them sticking out to bump into, and to have a chair that is thinner when folded. Many have a much bigger control box, which sticks up higher, and I thought it would lead to having a sore wrist. This chair is also one of the lightest ones I considered. It does help to take the battery out when lifting the chair into a car (it slides out easily), and it also helps that the chair is designed to stand upright when folded (having the manual brakes also helps for this). As for function, the speed control has a wide range, it turns sharply in very short space, it easily drives up a sloped driveway, and the battery lasted through a couple of grocery stores and two museums chasing around grandchildren, on the same charge, all without showing any drain on the battery meter. I was a initially concerned as the wheels do not totally feel disconnected from the motors when turned off, and while I would not want to have to push it for an extended distance without power, it was easy enough to push the chair through tight crowded spaces. We found it easier to do that in the gift shops and other tight, crowded spaces in the museums we recently went through. Since being able to take the chair on flights was a major part in our selection, I wanted to pass on a few important things about flying. We fly on American, and they were super helpful with bringing the chair. Anything declared as medical equipment is not charged baggage fees, so both the chair going as an extra bag, and the battery and related components as an extra carry-on item were allowed. Lithium batteries must fly inside the cabin, and we did not want the controller to be at risk for getting damaged traveling attached to the chair, so we put those items, along with the charger, all in a neoprene laptop bag. We already had a nice padded bag, with a carry strap, measuring 12 x 15, which fit everything tightly, so you would need a bag no smaller than this. American requires you to contact them before the flight (best to call them a week before), and once cleared, they assigned us a special approval number to use for all future flights. The FAA has a battery size restriction of 300 Watt Hours, and this chair’s battery is 288. Also, we had previously bought a carrying bag made for wheelchairs and walkers, and it fit perfectly. This bag is made of heavy duty, coated, nylon fabric, with a side pouch and built-in tightening straps (see picture); it kept the chair from getting damaged: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CGTHBM4Mref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_42 We also suggest getting medical equipment tags to place on the wheelchair bag and bag with battery/items to ensure the airline staff can clearly identify the items as ones to fly for free.

I found this product to be very well made and shipped in a timely way. It had very little assembly and was easy to learn to use. I would recommend as I did to start in the slowest speed. My first use of the chair was a large gem and mineral show with many people and obstacles, and I had no problems. The use of the chair was for at least 6 hours and still shows a full charge. The chair was easy to fold and fit in the trunk of a Toyota Corolla. I would recommend this chair to any one.

I have been wanting to get an electric wheelchair for years now, but didn't think I'd be able to find an affordable option. I chose this wheelchair after looking at all the specs and reviews, and I'm so pleased with my purchase! I've used a manual wheelchair and a rollator for years now, and I'm amazed at how much this electric wheelchair has improved my mobility! I can go run errands by myself now, without needing someone to push my manual wheelchair or wearing myself out walking with the rollator. Pros: 1. Adjustable arm rests (I really like that the armrests can be extended if needed. My manual wheelchair is wider than this chair, so I was worried I wouldn't have enough room.) 2. Lightweight: I really wanted a wheelchair that I could load/unload from my car without assistance. I've now loaded/unloaded my wheelchair multiple times without issue! 3. Maneuverability: this chair makes excellent tight turns, and can easily navigate tight spaces. 4. Fits through doorways! I can actually use this around my apartment, even getting through bathroom/bedroom doorways easily. 5. Adjustable speeds: this doesn't go extremely fast, about as much as a quick walking speed, but fits my purposes really well! 6. Battery life: I followed the directions and initially charged the wheelchair battery after every use for the first like 5 or 6 times. Today, I used the wheelchair for around 3 hours and was only just showing one less bar than fully charged. I'm not sure exactly how long the battery can run before it is fully drained, but it seems to be lasting a good amount of time! 7. Weight limit: this chair is safe for over 300lbs which is much better than a lot of the other wheelchairs I looked at. Unfortunately a lot of them max out around 200lbs. 8. Pretty colors: I love that this wheelchair comes in orange! Such a cute and fun color! 9. Maneuverability again, because this feature has been major! My neighborhood has a lot of uneven sidewalks that are really hard to navigate with my manual wheelchair. This electric wheelchair does so well going over bumpy/uneven sidewalks. 10. Assembly: This wheelchair was basically ready to go right out of the box. I was able to easily attach the controls and the battery. I charged it for a few hours, and it was ready to go. 11. Manual or electric: I really like that this wheelchair can be pushed when the battery is off. I've used this feature a few times already when I just want to move the wheelchair to a different area of my apartment, without having to turn on the power and navigate it with the control. 12. Customer Support: I had some issues getting the chair to lock initially. I ended up contacting customer support and I found them very helpful! Cons: 1. I had some issues with the lock on the back of the chair. I found that after folding/unfolding the chair a few times, I've been able to get the chair to lock more easily. 2. Cushion comfort: I wish the cushion was slightly thicker and larger, as it barely covers the metal frame. It is comfortable enough to use for several hours at a time. As you can see, I really really love this wheelchair so far! I've had it for about a week now, so I'm still keeping an eye on it to see how well it lasts over time.

This is a great quality wheelchair. We bought this for my FIL who has mobility issues after a stroke but wants to stay active. The chair is powerful, and he likes the multi-speed choices. It has a great turning radius, and the safety wheels are at a good angle. The battery seems to hold a charge well and he said the seat is comfortable. What impressed me the most, though is this company's FABULOUS customer service. They reached out before, during, and after the shipment to make sure all was well. We had a minor issue with one of the arms getting slightly bent during shipping, and they immediately sent a replacement. The rep even checked first to make sure it was easy for a layperson to replace without me asking. I still give 5 stars even with the issue because, wow. I've never seen such proactive service on an Amazon purchase. 10/10 would purchase from this company again.

I'm six feet tall, 190 pounds, and this chair fits me well. I like the fact that it is compact and gets around the house easily. I live in the country, and it's not so great outside on grass or uneven ground, but I didnt expect that it would be. I only have two criticisms. One is that there is a very important safety latch in the back of the chair that must be latched to insure that it doesnt fold up while being used. I had a very hard time getting the latch to lock up. I finally lubricated it with some lithium grease and really gave it a whack pulling it open, and it finally latched. I haven't folded it and opened it again. Maybe it will be easier next time. My other problem wit the chair is that when you go backwards, there is a beeping back up alarm. I live alone and really don't need that. I find it very annoying. That's why it didn't get five stars from me.
