The chair works as advertised and is light enough for me to lift into back of SUV (I'm 5'2 woman). This chair is for my father who has limited mobility, but is able to walk with assistance, but he recently broke his arm and so can not use his walker and is unstable with his arm wrapped up. This electric wheelchair is perfect for use around the house and to get him to his doctor appointments. It does fold, but can be stiff to get it to fold. HINT... Place the chair on its side and push down on it to fold. There is a lot of plastic to make it light. It was difficult to move the joystick from right to left side (broke his right arm, so could not use well). It has taken my father time to learn and get used to the joystick, but now he is becoming a pro. I have had to purchase a gel pad for the seat and more cushion for his back and arms of the chair. The padding for the seat is thin and the arms of the chair are hard plastic. He is able to use it on steep incline and the battery lasts a long time. Overall, this chair is worth the money.... HOWEVER....…I have been Unable to get a hold of the seller. The battery charger came damaged in the shipping box ( see pics) and will not charge the battery. My dad is able to use the chair since the battery came fully charged. I have requested replacement of the charger and have not heard any response in over 72 hours from the seller. Will update review if receive communication. *11/15 update - Had to get Amazon customer service involved to get communication back from the seller. They are going to ship me a replacement battery charger. I will update again once received. *11/25 update - Finally received replacement charger. Chair still works great. I would be wary of buying from this seller due to no communication; having to rely on Amazon support to force their hand and poor packaging of the shipped item. The chair itself is 4 stars minus 1 star for seller = 3 stars overall.

I like this chair - especially the price ($899 w a $100 coupon - paid $799!!). Chair is sturdy - gone up & down a slight grade & felt safe. Nice speed too! Finally figured out how to stop on a dime - pull joystick back, then let go! Easy to fold, fits in back of my Honda CRV w no problem! Only 2 flaws (after 2 uses) 1. The plates under the arm rests make it impossible to attach arm-rest-pads - going to try removing them. **UPDATE** Removed the plares and now it's SO much better!! Added a star back! 2. The foot rests are plastic and feel really cheap! I'm afraid I'm going to break them off with my heavy swollen feet! I'm going to look into a wheelchair repair place to see if they can be replaced - unless the manufacturer has replacement parts...

The wheelchair is 2 days outside of the return time and it will not charge after all the troubleshooting Has been attempted. The chair itself works fine however the charger is not charging. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

For the first time I'm disappointed,I got this for my wife for when she gets home from the hospital,the battery was cracked one of the charging lines is missing,it goes forward but not side to side or back it just shutters

Not a great chair, the battery has 2 ways to charge it, the seat is like a regular chair, the battery has to come off chair to fold it up. Braking system on chair works, but does not brake fast enough. I think its over priced, and not really disabled friendly.

The part that holds the right footrest came broken, as shown in the pictures. Can this part be sent to me or do I need to return the whole unit? Update: working with seller who is very responsive and is replacing the broken part versus returning and reordering. Very happy about that. Change to 4 stars as now I am concerned about the longevity of the footrest hangars for the future.
