Was a easy replacement. I ordered the "Camco Residencial Water Heater Element Wrench" as well and would definitely recommend spending the $7 on it. Made the Jeb very easy for my old elements and didn't have to worry about stripping them with a crescent wrench. My only issue (it's my fault) is I didn't order the kit with covers because it was going to take an extra day to receive and I planned to use my old ones. The didn't fit the new thermostat but I was still able to make them work. If your not in a rush I'd just order the kit with the covers. Other than that I'm considering having a kit on hand just incase. ... show more

This kit contained every part I needed to recondition my electric hot water heater. It's important to know your water heater's configuration so consult the OEM paperwork before you order. You will need a 1 1/2" socket for the elements.

Quick shipping and an exact fit…. SO FAR. I was only able to replace the interrupter, which is exactly perfect and works as expected. However, when trying to remove the heater element, the provided tool only bent around the bolt. It is made of a cheap metal not sufficient for the task. I will need to but another tool to finish the job… So the good price is now less of a value. Other than that, everything is great! ... show more
