I have a small condo and have gone thru 2 water tanks in the last 10 years. When my last one leaked I decided to go tankless. I called my friendly handyman and he recommended this one. I ordered and he installed. I love It!. It was easy to install (per his feedback) and it has so far been an excellent choice. I always have plenty of hot water (just me living here) it has allowed me to control the water temperature and has given me additional space from that ugly cumbersome tank that I had grown to hate. I am saving money on my electric bill (not huge but it all counts) and the cost to install was much less than buying another tank. All in all I highly recommend this unit to anyone that is considering a tankless unit. It is a 5 Star PLUS.

The media could not be loaded. **Edit** I’ve had and been using this for a few months now. Just a warning that it will sometimes randomly jump up to a higher temperature before throwing an error code. Twice now I’ve been washing my hands and it’s jumped to 152 and burned me before throwing an error code. Once I turn the hot water off, the error code goes away. This was a great value for the cost. It heats up quickly, is easily adjustable, and can be turned off when not in use. It’s got a pretty low profile and looks nice. It takes 2, 40amp breakers and the install was easy. The instructions were horrible though.

Installation took awhile because of differences in old fashioned 40 gallon water heater to the more modern wiring. We Had to install an outside breaker Box to accommodate the increase in size of the voltage breakers and the wiring itself also had to be increased in gauge. However the changes where not a hindrance and the unit is working well so far.By now several weeks have gone and the unit is no longer working properly. When I turn on the water it takes 10 min. to get warm water, after several more min it finally gets hot enough to shower as you have shaped up good (4_5 min) the hot water goes completely off, Am not thrilled to be taking a shower at the age of 82 in cold water. I received no invoice is method of registering a warrantee nor do I have serial number. This to notify you that the unit will be returned to the seller if you can not provide service.

The media could not be loaded. I have had this unit installed for about 6 months now and its worked out well so far. The on demand water is fast and stays constant. There can be a sudden rush of heat when initially turning it on but that goes away quickly. Something you get used to by opening the hot water a bit more slowly. Pressure is good. I'm using this to heat 3 sinks and a shower. It is also connected to the tub faucet but I would recommend the lager 27kW version to keep up with the flow for a tub. I have to restrict the flow to keep the water hot when filling the tub but that is to be expected with the GPM rating of this unit and I did not want to dedicate 3 double pole spots in the breaker box. I did initially have an issue with an overheating error code popping up a few times but it went away and has been working great so far ever since.
