I purchased this for my husband after his norelco shaver broke for like the 3rd time and hearing him complain how it would die so quick and that the blades cost almost as much as the shaver.so I went online read like what seemed to be a million reviews and selected this one after reading some great reviews and swing that it was fast charging and was able to get wet and didn’t cost a ton of money in fact this cost almost a third of what his older shaver did and shaved just as good or better then his old norelco did and came in a nice sturdy box with a black storage bag and the charging usb cable included the fact that it can get charged via a usb cable was a plus bc he can charge it at home or in his car or where ever without having to buy a specific cable for each use it also seems very sturdy has a nice indicator screen and the battery lasts he says it’s super easy to clean and with the click of a button and even came with a blade head cover for when he isn’t using it so they don’t get dinged up or dirty and as I saw the blade head replacement are super cheap going to be stocking up on them soon so I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a shaver that doesn’t want to spend an insane amount and wants something that lasts long and works great ... show more

I have had a number of Norelco's throughout the years, and this was the first time for this brand. This shaver feels like the best shaver I have ever owned. It shaves very smoothly, easily and quickly. I was really surprised at how comfortable it is.

This is the first shaver I've gotten that hasn't been the barbershop style with multiple length attachments and so far I'm impressed. The save gets pretty darn close and it doesn't pull hair or leave a razor burn or anything like that. What surprised me the most is how quiet it is! My phone vibrates louder than this thing sometimes! Pros: ¤ Quiet - This took me by surprise but I like it! ¤ Close shave - Obviously not as good as a normal razor but I feel like it's about as good as you can get with a shaver ¤ Comfortable - Doesn't pull hair, and the blades are spring loaded to move with the curves of your face ¤ Charger - It uses a micro-usb cable to charge so if you misplace your charger for whatever reason, getting another will be a breeze Cons: ¤ Would have been nice if it came with an extra set of blades but that's just me being picky I don't have anything to compare it to but just from my experience I'd say this is a good shaver for the price and would recommend for sure. ... show more

    • Nice idea, poor design
This shaver doesn't last very long. The hinge that holds the cutting heads on is designed to fail. It's not a savings in cost either; the design is such that the pin that holds that top part on works ONLY by basic friction, and after a very short time the hinge pin wears away at the plastic. Some simple dimples to hold that hinge pin could fix it in the plastic mold, but it appears the designers intended for it to quickly wear away. But hey, what do you expect from a cheap shaver? I should add that the seller has started harassing me to change or delete this review. I will not remove nor change this review, as potential buyers need to know what they might be getting into. ... show more

I was weary of buying this off brand razor but I'm so glad I did. This thing works fantastic. Close shave with no pulling and no razorburn. Long lasting battery and great features at half the price of comparable name brand units.

I bought this shaver to replace the 'other' brand because I wasn't happy with the charging time (8 hours) and how often I felt it needed a charge. The power of this unit is very good and still hasn't needed a charge after 3 weeks. In all fairness, I don't shave every day. Even though it is waterproof, I never thought I would use it wet. I'm not brave enough to take it into the shower, but I did decide to try a wet shave. Just used soap and water, much like washing my face. I was so surprised at the ease, comfort, speed, and closeness of the shave. Cleanup was a breeze, just rinsed the head in the sink. Wet shaving will probably be my standard way from now on.
