This is a nice scooter. I charged it and it only took maybe 1.5-2 hours. There’s a learning curve for sure and for those of you saying it doesn’t work when you push the pedal, you have to give it a kick start, then you’ll hear a beep, and feel it really pick up speed. I wish it had an option to turn off the motor if only because it’s a bit too fast for my little one. She’s still learning to balance and use her foot as a traditional scooter and when the motor turns on it makes her nervous. Overall though it’s a sturdy and well made scooter! Seemingly pretty sturdy. My tot is 50lbs and full-speed-ahead 24/7/365. This scooter is the perfect upgrade from his Radio Flyer, in my opinion. The obvious preference for an electric scooter is a widely paved trail at a meandering park on a beautifully sunny day. BUT when the package arrived and it was too awesome to wait for the stars to align - a few quick trips around the block will do the trick.
