This scooter is so nice. It's not rickety at all. Instead it's very sturdy and doesn't go too fast making it safe for my kids to use around the front yard. The makers had the right idea when they put 3 levels of max speed at 5/8/10 mph. The RGB lights are fun too especially in the evening.     • Made for kids, but adults can enjoy it too
I'm a 260 pound 6'1" adult and can ride this scooter. It's not particularly fast with me on it, but its motor is strong enough to keep me in motion. It is definitely designed for kids though, as I have to hunch a bit to reach the handlebars while riding it, and the deck itself is quite short, I end up having my back foot angled on its toes with the heal resting over the rear brake most of the time, but it can be done. The battery life is great. For a normal kid use, you can expect it to last quite a long time during rides, but for me it last around 30 or 40 minutes under a constant throttle, which is surprising given its not designed for someone of my size. There are LEDs on the deck and they're addressable, so you can have a solid color or and rainbow pulsing design, and they're cyclable through the button on the throttle controller. Not particularly fast, when I'm on it it moves at a decent jogging pace, though when my little cousin is on it it does go much quicker. You do need to push off still, the motor will not engage from a standstill, which can be good or bad, depending on how you look at it. It's got both a front brake handle as well as a rear "step" brake that you step on the slow, and the motor will free will forward so you can coast without it causing drag and slowing you down. ... show more

This Electric Scooter for kids is a great gift for kids. It comes with colorful LED lights on the bottom that change colors as you ride. It says it has 3 speed gears 5/8/10 mph, however it really doesn't seem to go faster than 5 mph. Also it takes a long time to charge up and then quickly uses up the battery. So my child didn't get to use it for a long time. Great looking scooter, just not long lasting battery. ... show more

The scooter was pretty easy to put together. When the lights come on, the colors are exciting for my kids. Everything worked fine but I couldn’t make the scooter go. I pushed on the throttle, and nothing happened. After re-reading the directions, it seemed like I did everything right in putting things together. I contacted the seller of the scooter HYPER GOGO, about the problem. I was very impressed that they quickly told me what the issue was. As it turns out, the error was on my end. You're supposed to begin riding the scooter the traditional, non-powered way, and then engage the throttle once you have it already rolling. When I tried this at the seller's instruction, it worked immediately, and it was a blast! The scooter is quick, stable, and a very enjoyable ride. I did find that you have to get the scooter rolling at a decent speed before the motor will engage, and it wouldn't do so if you were going too slow, but it wasn't hard to get it to work. We really like it! There are three speed settings, and they do make a noticeable difference when riding. The only real feedback I have at this point is with the instructions. They could be much better, specifically with giving operation instructions, because currently they have none. This is what led to my initial disappointment: I didn't know the specific steps to get it working and the instructions make no attempt to tell you. What a wonderful, safe, well built mode of transport. It comes almost fully assembled and took about 20 minutes to finish the job. The battery was holding 60% charge so we left it overnight to completely charge. It is a bit harrowing watching your children/grandchildren take this first step towards moving in a motorized vehicle. This is really well made with designs to help the rider be aware of what they are doing without overwhelming them. It has 3 speed modes and if the rider surpasses 10 mph it is designed to sound an alarm…brilliant. When fully charged it can go 5 miles or 40-60 minutes of continuous riding. Depending on the weight and demands made by rider, the times and distance can vary. Our granddaughter was a bit nervous and took her time getting the feel of the scooter. She easily maneuvered it around our drive and out in the neighborhood. I followed her on my bike and was so pleased with the side lights, on board display and how sturdy it is. The cost is up there but it definitely is a “get what you pay for” item. Highly reccommended ... show more

    • FUN FUN FUN. Easy Assembly, battery lasts for over an hour and its fast and easy to handle.
This is an awesome, relatively inexpensive scooter that your kids would love, it's a great platform to teach them balance, speed handling and prevention while they have fun, many things they learn with this scooter they will apply in the future. Assembly: This unit comes almost fully assembled, and the rest can be put together and be operational in 10-15 minutes, battery comes pre-charged and ours was between 60-75% charge, we let it fully charge the first time as i like for batteries to fully cycle, i am not sure if battery memory is still a thing in 2024, but oh well. Battery life is great for what it is, on full speed on my 115lbs kid discharge it, takes about a little over 1 hour to fully discharge it, of course with some stops in between, but mostly zipping around the street. The on board display is nice and show vital information about speed and controls, such as LED lights on on off, also another thing to teach your kids to read instruments on equipment being used. The side LED lights provide a fun look while also making people around the rider aware of their presence. It feels well built and solid, 10mph is no joke so get a helmet for your kid, protect their heads! They are having an absolute blast, and for $230 this is just an awesome introduction some skills that will translate to valuable lessons later in life whatever they decide to do and that also provides outside time, balance training and responsibility to your kids, i would strongly recommend it if you're considering it. ... show more
