A gift for my grandson. He loves it. He's 12 and it is perfect. He weighs about 110 and close to 5 feet tall. The size and weight of the scooter does not feel cheap. It's made well. This scooter is not as fast as the electric bike his older brother has so we are happy he isn't in the streets with this. It has good power and acceleration. I tried it and felt it was very sturdy. He can scoot over to our house that is about ¾ of a mile away in less than 10 minutes. Not sure if it would be good in light snow, but I'm sure he will try it as winter is approaching fast. Well built scooter that easily maintains 19 mph on relatively level ground. Range and speed on inclines is significantly reduced. I am only able to get 4-5 miles on a charge in my hilly neighborhood. Fun scooter with adequate lighting for night safety. Brakes are very good.

I have got a hold of the manufacturer of this the place that shipped it from me. These guys are ridiculous. They don’t wanna warranty nothing. They want me to wait 14 days for a battery pack that I have to replace. I asked him for a credit for replacing the battery pack the battery pack when I got it is defective. Your getting what you pay for. I'm about 190lbs and it hits 20mph on sport mode... but only on with a full battery. The app is handy, purchase is pretty much what you'd expect. Only real complaint is that the 3 fasteners that hold the rear wheel guard to the board vibrate out. Bad design. Go up one fastener length and put some locktight on them you'll be fine. This scooter is way under powered. I've ridden others that are 350W and this one is the worst. I am 190 lbs and on flat ground it takes 15 seconds to come up to speed. On even the slighted slope it slows way down. I tried to return it and was shocked to find out that I needed to pay for the return shipping which would be about $100. I complained to the vendor who said it is working normally and then ghosted me on further communication. I would not recommend this scooter unless you are a super lightweight. UPDATE: The seller contacted me and worked out an equitable solution. I am changing the stars because they do care about service. The scooter is still under powered for a 190 lb person, but will be fine for someone smaller. ... show more
