First off, this scooter is good value for the money. It was easy to put together and I was ready to go in about 20 minutes. I bought this one because I weigh about 310 lbs and it is rated for that plus. Even with my weight, the scooter will get up to 30 mph on a smooth and level road. The display had an issue where it suddenly got dim and was impossible to see in daylight, but a brief message to customer service had concerned apology and new display quickly on its way. I would definitely recommend this scooter to anyone looking for a very nice, yet fairly inexpensive ride. ... show more

This is a powerful scooter that rides smoothly and has no issues climbing small hills. It takes off quickly and handles bumps and turns well. However, I removed three stars as there is only one break which is located on the front wheel. This makes it incredibly dangerous to use on busy streets or as a commuter scooter. I have almost flipped over using the breaks while only going about 15 mph. I can’t imagine having to use that break system going full speed. I have called around and it will be an additional $200 - $250 to have a back break installed. If you plan on using this on busy streets do not buy. I purchase this crap for my son who rode it till the battery remained one bar. I decided to charge it but it wouldn’t take a charge, I contacted them requesting another charger and they didn’t even bother to respond. I ordered another charger on my own and it still won’t take a charge. I tried to return it but was told by Amazon that my window to return had closed. So, I took it down to my basement and stuff it in corner where I don’t have to see it again. My regret was not allowing my son to ride it immediately I received it, I parked it waiting for his school grade to arrive and when it does HE ONLY RODE IT JUST ONE TIME.
