The Roinside UP6's build quality is immediately noticeable: Clean lines and fairly light weight at 30 lbs. What helped make this foldable, electric scooter stand out are the clean lines and NFC-controlled motor activation. That means: no physical key needed to enable/disable the scooter. The 8.5" tires makes it a little less comfortable than those with 10" tires. Overall, the decent (but not powerful) 350W motor with my tested, top speed of about 17.6mph, stability, and clean lines make the Roinside UP6 a joy to ride. As exciting the Roinside and any other electrical scooter are, make sure they are legal to ride in your area. Most, if not all, jurisdictions prohibit operating an eScooter on the sidewalk. PROS - Quality build -- Clean assembly lines and cable management - Urban-friendly features -- Medicore, smooth acceleration -- Top speed: 17.6 mph -- Maximum rider weight: 250 lbs based on past experience with similar eScooters - 323 Wh Battery -- Range: 15-20 miles, though 17 mi is more realistic under "real world" use --- Use of brakes, rider's weight, and going uphill will reduce range -- Runtime: 1-4 hours --- Took 3-5 hours to fully charge via AC power supply - Stable ride - Comfortable - Portable -- eScooter can have its handle folded down towards the deck, lock, and then be carried by the bar - Built-in kickstand - Arrived nearly fully assembled and VERY well-packaged CONS - 8.5" tires makes it slightly less comfortable than 10" ones - Neck bar height is not adjustable and may be too short for tall riders - Top speed: 17.6 mph. United Airlines, for example, allows collapsible ones whose battery is both removable and below 300 Wh. This scooter's is 323 Wh. Lithium-ion batteries are known to be volatile, and the higher their capacity, the more risky they are. Check with the airlines for more details. The product came very well packaged with extra insulation and some padding. The bike was folded when it came and was relatively easy to assemble. It took about 10 minutes to put the 4 screws on the handlebar and pull the excess wire down. When I did turn it out, I was surprised to see that it was already charged. However, the manual does say to perform an initial six hour charge before the use so I did that. I bought this for riding around the community and have taken it out a couple of times. It's fairly easy to use, solid build overall (I am 188lbs) and it carries my weight effortlessly. The controls are easy to use and the brake works well. I like the fact that there is an LED light and a little ring bell. I'd highly recommend this to people looking for casual riding. Side note - this can integrate with the app and haa some decent features. Haven't fully looked into it yet but will add more once I have added this in the mobile app. ... show more

I’m highly impressed with this scooter. I had lowered my standards because of the price and because I haven’t heard of the company before but wow! Scooter is great! I’m 170lbs and it reaches 19mph easy. Going up some hill are sluggish but good. Now if it had suspension it’d make it 10x better. But overall it’s great ... show more
