This projector is very straightforward. As far as it's functionality, there's one HDMI input, one standard power plug an output for audio. Picture quality is as expected.. aesthetically it really is a pleasure to have in your environment unlike other projectors that look like projectors, this sealed unit blends in when not in use.. We Really like its small form factor and handle. It is fun addition to bring with you be to the office or for a family movie night.. we've had comments such as (projectors have come a long way. The one we used to have was ugly that thing is pretty) the sound quality is proper for projector of the size and the sealed unit really gives us hope that the bulb and picture will last longer than any of the open air predecessors that we've used in the past ... show more

First of all, I love the design. I'm just retro enough to appreciate the "Magic Lantern" look and feel of this projector. The carrying strap truly makes it feel like its designed to be portable. It's single button on the top adds to the appeal of simplicity. Having said that, it's multiple inputs on the back (USB and HDMI) as well as having a headphone jack for connecting external sound output options make it incredibly versatile. Setup is straightforward and simple. It connected with wifi easily and its iOScast and Miracast options are great ways to connect and share your computer or mobile device. I own two other projectors, however this one has much better video quality The edges of the video are crisp and clear not blurry as are my other projectors..we recently did an outdoor movie night, the brightness of this picture and ease of the setup. Made for a very enjoyable evening. For the money this is now my favorite one by far , and I would easily recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable price, with the quality of a much more expensive projector. The built in speaker is good, however if you hook up a better quality Bluetooth speaker, it makes for a cinematic experience anywhere...the projected size of this screen is far better than my others that went up to 100 inches....this one goes much larger...enjoy ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased this FunFlix projector for about $80. As it was a fraction of the price I paid for a the projector I purchased last year for my presentations, I expected only a fraction of the performance. So I set both projectors up side by side and started with a brightness comparison. I set up in the afternoon using a screen designed for projection from front or back. The wall and door are clearly visible through this screen. Since both projectors are supposed to be bright enough to use in a partially darkened room, I figured this would be a good test. I powered on the older unit and could make out the input selection panel above the door and the light from behind washed out anything being projected. Then I turned on the new projector and the "sun" came out and almost washed out the “moon”. I could not believe how much brighter the FunFlix projector output was over the more expensive unit I bought a year ago. Okay, what about a movie. I started up one of the Matrix trilogy which has a lot of dark images and even with the door light penetrating the screen, I could make out some of the screen. The area of the screen that covered a wall shows the difference of not having a back light in an ambient lit room. Additionally, the sound coming out of this FunFlix was significantly louder. I suppose I could try to record it with Audacity to quantify the dB difference but I won’t. With my hearing loss, I had trouble hearing the earlier projector and I can hear the FunFlix fine. The sound on the video is provided by the speaker on the FunFlix. This unit has a number of inputs and an output for a miniature headphone jack. It also says it has a coaxial jack but it does not seem to work with the coaxial cord I have which is more like an RCA plug on a heavier cord. I’m anxious to try out the other features specific to presentations. Being darker outside, I tried the other features and am impressed. Evidently the FunFlix has an Office app included which allows me to plug in a USB with files and not only project them, but I can also even make changes in my files – although not nearly as easily as using a keyboard. And then there is another app for pictures from a USB. This means I can load a presentation on a USB and the projector and I am set. Conclusion, I like it. ... show more
