I got this fireplace for my daughters bedroom because her room is in a direction which does not get any sun during winters and is always very cold. I really like the compact and portable design that will take very little floor space and can be used in small spaces easily. Her room is about 400 square feet and this fireplaces heats it up within no time. This heater comes with a remote which has a good range it can operate from. My daughter uses it from her bed and the heater is across in the corner and it works just fine. The unit also has controls on the front which can be accessed by opening the decorative metal door. The temperature, blower, brightness of flames can all be adjusted with a click. I love that the flames also have multiple color options to pick from which makes it look so pretty at night. My daughter sets the brightness to lowest at night and it works as night light too. The main unit is on sturdy raised metal legs which keep it away from carpet so the floor does not heat up. Timer settings are also very useful. It is a very well made strong unit which is easy to operate and will keep us warm in winters.

We just received our fireplace heater yesterday, so not a lot of time for me to assess durability, but we are very pleased with the look and the heat output. My husband was shaking his head, saying he couldn't believe how close to real the flames look. We love the ability to adjust temperature to off even, if all we want is ambiance. It really looks great. We have a real wood or gas burning fireplace but not in the room we spend the most time in. Thinking about an insert 😆 Love the vent on top so as to not worry about kitty cats. The stove is cool to touch on top, I didn't find that anywhere in the description and was the one feature I wanted that wasn't mentioned. Pleased with that as well. Nice and solid, all metal housing. We are very pleased with this purchase. I will update if anything changes that.
