I assembled it and the mechanical disc brakes did not work. 200 yards to stop the bike. I replaced them with 4 piston hydraulic brakes and now the bike is great. The only reason I bought an e-bike from Amazon is because I am a bicycle mechanic. You can get amazing deals on e-bikes on Amazon but you better be ready to do mechanical, hydraulic and electrical work yourself. Most bike shops only fix e-bikes they sell. I just got my ZDZO e-bike model ZAO2two days ago and assembly went well with all parts fitting like they should but the weather has been rainy, windy and cold so rides have been short. I like the power of the assist and how it rides making the rather heavy 66 lbs in the user manal (box said 78). A major correction in the information that needs to change is the frame is NOT aluminum but steel! When putting together I noticed that a magnet would stick to the frame. Part of my decision to get this bike was frame material which I thought would help lighten the e-bike. In fact the the user manual states frame is IRON (but most likely is steel). I do believe this e-bike will suit my needs as 3 aortic aneurysium surgeries in past 19 years have limited my riding the last few years. I've been an avid biker over the years putting thousands of my miles (25 RAGBRAIs biking across Iowa) on the 10 bikes in my garage. Now ready to ride! ... show more

    • Defective manufacture of rims, front and back, leaving shrapnel behind.

Never ever accept a bike without a warranty! I ordered the warranty with it, but it was not incuded. When I called, they said there was no warranty available. The bike mechanism works perfectly - the wheels do not. Both tires flattened, not by anythin in it, but from the inside of the innertube. There was manufacturing shrapnel, left underneath the rubber rim protecter, which worked its way out. The way it is made, there could be more of it left underneath, still working out. I cannot trust this bike more than walking distance from home, so it is worthless. Three flats in 2 weeks. ... show more

I ordered this bike in Desert White, and received a yellow bike which is disappointing. We took it to a bicycle shop in the box, to put together, so I didn’t realize it until after I paid for that service. I’m not going to deal with sending it back, at this point. The bicycle seat is extremely hard to adjust. We had to take the seat off, and use a hammer to get it to adjust down. I can’t imagine trying to get it back up again, so hopefully that will never be needed! We also had problems getting the handlebars adjusted correctly. I like the display, the water bottle holder, headlight and brake lights. Nice extras! The bike also seems to ride well. We’ll know more after a long ride. This is my 5th Ebike purchase. We have really enjoyed riding them and I am hoping we’ll be just as happy with this one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great bike. Easy to assemble. I have been enjoying it both as an assisted pedal machine as well as a full on motorized moped. It goes fast (maybe too fast!). Smooth ride, long battery life, fun to ride. Great price too!!
