First I have bought three of these bikes now. One for me and the other two for family. During assembly my bike worked immediately without issue. On the other two bikes the cord that runs from display on the handle bars to the battery was unplugged and prevented the bikes from turning on. So if the bike doesn’t turn on double check that cord and make sure they are connected. I also had to do some realigning of the brakes because of rubbing on the pads. I have put on my bike almost 300 miles in the 3 months I have owned my it. I would agree that the tires used on the bike are very poor quality. The sidewall of the tread is barely thicker then the tube and the tread is not much thicker. The tubes on one bike split along the seem. Without peddling it does struggle on steep hills but it is able to do them unaided if you are willing to sacrifice battery life. I have had to do typical maintenance on the bike given the miles I have added. Brakes needed to be tightened and I am going to have to realign the gears. Nothing I wasn’t expecting with the miles on the bike. I can get about 20 miles on a single charge when the bike is going at max speed. For the price not bad works as expected. Overall it is a good bike and worth getting if you don’t want to spend several thousand dollars on an ebike. I haven’t come across any major concerns on any of the bikes. *No tiene control crucero.. *la velocidad max alcanzada es de 20Mph .. (comprobado con medidor de velocidad independiente) aunque el panel indique 21.6mph ... *habemos personas que usamos la ebike varias millas a diario...y he rodado aprox 56 millas en modo asistido (casi sin dejar de pedalear) hasta el momento y he recargado la bateria 3 ocasiones me da la impresion que la bateria no tiene la durabilidad que indica en las especificaciones (o indicarme que posiblemente estoy haciendo mal)....tomando en cuenta que la cuidad en la que me movilizo es prácticamente plana sin pendientes o pocos puentes.. lo cual no justifica que la bateria rinda tan pocas millas... *Tiene un pequeño sonido en la estructura que aun no logro descifrar ** sugerencia ** En ese modelo seria interesante dejar un espacio para colocar el porta botellas de agua u otro liquido.. ... show more

This does not include a complete performance review as yet, since the weather today is preventing me from taking it out for a ride. I hope to update this review after a performance test. That being said, my initial observations are as follows: DELIVERY: Prompt. The package arrived on time at the earliest window provided. The packaging was intact and undamaged. One observation to note, the box was large and quite heavy (ca. 50+lbs). If you know its coming and are around for delivery, please go out and help your deliver driver. It is a 2-person carry and FedEx drivers typically work alone. I once helped a 4'10" female deliver driver carry a 2-pieced box sofa to a neighbor's home. I can't imagine what she would have done had I not been walking my dog. PACKAGING: Superb. The seller exercised great care and attention to secure and protective packaging. Everything arrived undamaged and well-contained. Lots of high-density foam, coverings and zip ties. Heavy duty cardboard box as well. ASSEMBLY: Easy-peasy. Granted, it's not my first bike or even E-bike. Instructions seemed clear, and concise, but I could see where there might be info gaps if one has never done this before. In retrospect, I wish I had done an unboxing video for You Tube. Make certain fasteners go in straight (rotate easily by hand), especially pedals (Left = counter-clockwise), and do not fully secure until everything is assembled properly. PROBLEMS: Only one. The headlight mount was bent. Headlight was aligned like a 'lazy-eye' to the right. Asymmetry bothers me (Architect!). When I tried to adjust the fitting, the steel actually broke. Opinionated Observation Alert: Chinese alloys are notoriously brittle. (zippers especially... and apparently cheap wire headlight mounts). Solution: I keep old parts. I believe this is a quality. My wife thinks it is a pathology. You judge. I used an old reflector mount to create a suitable headlight bracket. I like how it turned out so much, I didn't even bother to request a replacement part. See photos. IMPRESSIONS: This thing is a beast. Other buyers have noted that it is big. Do not discount that observation. It is BIG! My Mongoose Fat Mountain Bike is a Stallion. This one is a Clydesdale. Fortunately I am 6' tall and prefer a tall bike. If you are under 5'10" be wary. Did I mention its Big? Overall, it is a beautifully designed bicycle. I like the robust center beam and battery compartment. There are also plenty of 'braze-ons' located per standard bike specifications. The handlebars seam short, but this is a folding bike. The seat seams large and comfy. As others have noted, A foldable bike must have foldable peddles. This one does not. That is a FAIL considering how inexpensive and readily available folding peddles are these days. I'm not a fan of manufacturer graphics but I can understand the market. I'm just glad auto makers don't plaster 'HONDA' across their Civics (albeit they do across their motorcycles. Must be a bi-wheel thing). Eventually I will remedy this with the help of Goo Gone. It'll create great clean canvas for destination stickers... aka AngelFire, NM. OBSERVATIONS: As I said, this is not my first Fat Bike. I've had four. And this is my second E-bike. Manual says the recommended inflation pressure is 45lb +. The tire clearly lists 30lbs recommended. I have found 30lbs to be plenty for this size of Rim. I'm open to contradiction. Always eager to learn. I don't much care for the undermount key port. It's weird and dysfunctional. I want to be able to see and read that interface port. And in that location and orientation it is also vulnerable to mud and moisture. Might be a good idea to tape it in wet or muddy conditions. I'm just going to stop my preliminary observations here and come back when I have a performance update. See my photos.
