I have purchased two of these bikes which both work perfectly and have a top speed of about 30. I highly suggest replacing the tires immediately unless you ride on clean pavement. These bikes should have moped rated tires. Rear shock is too stiff for us at 135-155lbs but cheap swap. And the pedals are made of a weird plastic material that breaks quickly(odd because quality pedals are quite cheap) $15 and peace of mind. The value for the money is here 100%. But if you're going to charge offroad at 30mph or alongside cars on the road you may want to consider some safety upgrades(tires/pedals). I will say, however, the hydraulic brakes work excellent on my bikes and are suitable for the bike. ... show more

This bike is extremely dangerous and defective. My son has had it just over a week, and the front wheel keeps locking up while he’s riding at 30 mph. It caused him to flip off his bike and get pretty hurt. Yes, we looked at the bike to make sure everything was connected properly. And then we tested it a few times and it’s still locking up. This should not be happening on an electric bike, especially at this price. I highly recommend the manufacturer take this seriously and fix the defect on the bike. ... show more
