    • Fast, not very reliable electric bike

So, I bought this e-bike after researching a few dozen and basically just giving up on my research because there were just too many options so I took a chance and bought this one and have been sort of happy with my purchase as this is my very first ebike. I gotta say, this thing is pretty fast. Topping 31mph without pedaling and tires fully inflated. I will admit, I hardly pedal this thing which, of course, is not probably the best thing but, it's fun. Besides the speed at its max, this is a ebike for a beginner. One other thing i forgot to mention. I've used this bike primarily on the road. Not on any trails or mountainous terrain so, i can't really say anything in regards to how it would perform in those conditions. Well the rear shifter gear broke off and I've never ridden this thing off road. Not sure why but the Shimano gear shifter metal is weak. Hasn't even been six months ... show more

This is a great entry level ebike in my opinion. I weigh 200lbs am 5'10" and it will go 20 miles on throttle alone and 26 miles with me pedaling with it in top gear. I'm impressed. When the battery is full it will go 33mph as advertised and 28 on average after about 5 miles. Everything works and it was easy to put together with the tools it came with. Make sure to clean the front brake rotor with solvent before installing it onto the bike to prevent noisy brakes. The digital screen is nice, you can program the top speed easily and remove the function of the throttle if you have to for legality. I just run it with the throttle. The headlight is cool during the day only 2 of the leds turn on at night all 4 do to save battery. Last cool feature I like is the cruise control feature I use it all of the time. I basically ride this bike like a moped. I wouldn't take it off road besides gravel and dirt paths. It's not meant for trail riding. Also I don't ride it in the rain or when it is wet outside because its only water resistant. I have 128 miles on the bike and nothing has went wrong. I can't fault the bike at all. It's a good bike that performs great for the money. I only use the bike to get around town and it saves a lot of fuel. But yeah I'm very happy 10/10. ... show more

This is the second ebike that I've gotten and when I tell you the quality in this particular bike is amazing! The bigger battery allows me to ride longer and the overall feel and wait are just right. I like that the front wheel comes off so I can easily store this in my trunk versus having to put it on a bike rack. If you're looking for something that is not too pricey that gives you great value, I highly recommend this. ... show more
