This bike is easy to put together and it’s even easier to ride! It’s quiet but I am really amazed at the performance and how fast it really goes. You can get up to 21mph and it will go up to 50 miles on a full charge. It’s comfortable enough for me to ride but also my husband and teenage son. The digital LCD screen shows you all your trip stats as well as the level you’re riding at and it even has a headlight. It comes with 2 keys so you can lock the battery on or remove it when you need to. I am definitely please with the quality so far and I’m looking forward to getting a lot more rides in when the weather warms up. (revised review after 500+ miles at the bottom) this review is just my first impressions as this is the first day ive has the bike, and right after my first and so far only ride. if anything changes ill update this review accordingly the shipping was good, and faster than the estimate suggested (by about 3 days), and the bike came undamaged. putting it together on your own might be a bit of a hassle as it was still slightly annoying sometimes even though i had someone helping me. regardless its a pretty straightforward building process and not too hard, and they provide everything youll need. only issue i had, annoyingly, with the bike, and why its only getting 4 stars instead of 5, is the kickstand mount had the drilled holes messed up. one hole was too big, and both holes didnt have any tread for the included bolts to screw into anyway, so ill have to buy an aftermarket kickstand. as for the ride, the seats alright, i might swap it out later, but for now it didnt feel too bad. shifts great, and it feels really good to ride. i just started getting back into biking and the gearing alone is a huge upgrade over my last bike, so i was easily able to go faster in first gear with no pedal assist than ive been able to using all the gears on my other bike *despite* the added weight from the battery and motor. throttle function worked great, felt really good and gets you going fast. overall this bike is pretty good, but ive only just gotten it so if there are any longevity problems ill update then then is now. 521 miles on the odo. still pretty solid, but definitely some issues to mention, though im not sure how much of it is my fault. brakes feel fairly Ineffective already, not sure if that's normal or not, but adjusting the barrel adjusters works as a good enough fix for now. i crashed once like an idiot already and the front fender seems to be permanently knocked out of place. not so bad that its unusable, but its a little annoying. battery is also supposed to last anywhere between 40-50 miles, but my experience is more 30 miles tops, and im well within the max load spec (148 lbs). gearing has been a real problem. it was great at first, but now its really annoying. lots of clicking noises, not shifting up or down sometimes when i tell it to, jumps off of the front cog on bumps sometimes, jumps off the derailleur and gets stuck in the frame... its been a real hassle. im gonna take it to a shop sometime soon, but im not super surprised. with this being the extent of the issues after 500 miles, for around $430 (after shipping and taxes for me), its still a pretty good deal. would recommend, ESPECIALLY if youre on a budget and even more so if youre handy with tools and can fix these issues yourself ... show more
