Pleasantly surprised with everything about this bike. I had a very old electric bike and did a lot of reading before buying a new one. This bike exceeded my expectations. It is fast with quite a bit of quick-response power. The battery on my previous bike was much heavier so I can’t judge the weight except to tell you it is a much lighter bike than my previous one. I bought the bike for pleasure use and not to commute although you could definitely use it for commuting. This bike is fun and a great value. I haven’t found that to be true here. Also, the company’s customer service is excellent. My husband and I were putting the bike together and had difficulty with the front tire. But I had sent an email to customer service before we figured it out, and they responded the same evening…that rarely happens anymore. Anyway, this bike is the first bike we’ve put together so I was hesitant about ordering it in the first place. After riding it for over a week now, I am so glad I did. ... show more

I recommend this bike 100% to anyone who wants an e-bike at an extremely affordable price! I did a lot of research before purchasing, including visiting local bike shops to ask questions and learn more about e-bikes, and I decided to purchase the bike Let me tell you this bike does not dissapoint. I have put about 75 miles on the bike and it has been far superior to what I expected for the price. Most of the miles I've ridden have been off road on mountain bike trials, and the bike has been perfect. The suspension holds up very good, the battery has lots of life, and I can hit 28mph on pavement and 26mph off road. I easily get 3-4 full off road rides before I need to charge again. ... show more

I’m still getting used to this bike. Like remembering to shift down before stopping so that when I start up again, that the assist doesn’t surge forward as fast. Overall, it is quiet and gets me up the hills! This way I can ride further while still getting some exercise. Update: I’ve been riding for several months and find that being able to conquer hills allows me to go further! Bike is running well! Great bike for the price with many features. For $400, you really can’t go wrong. I bought this bike to learn the ins and outs of e-bikes and I’m happy with it Gears shift smoothly, and conveniently. I find myself usually just sticking to 7 and PAS 2 you feel the motor most at take off. I’ve hit 27MPH on PAS 3 I get 42 miles out of the battery depending on which PAS level I use as a 250lb rider. A lighter rider would probably get more battery life. The throttle is there but I find myself sticking to PAS Over all for $400 5/5 ebike. Amazing deal! Amazing bike! I am a 6’4” 315 lbs man that has a hard time finding bikes that can fit my size without breaking. I got it to help with my commute to school. This was delivered a week ago, and came one week early! I have ridden it everyday since. The battery lasts much longer than I will ever use and is easy to remove. I was concerned that the battery would be stolen, but it comes with a key and locks directly onto the bike! My wife tried it out and decided she wanted one as well, so now we have two! I had shopped at a few bike shops, the electric bike’s come assembled and are of good quality but very expensive. They only are available with pedal assist. It seems that to have throttled assist is against their philosophy of riding. This bike has both pedal and throttle assist which I find convenient. I did not use the written instructions, I used the video which I found adequate. I had no trouble in assembling the bike it comes mostly together. I took it for a short ride and everything worked as it should have. So far I am very pleased with my purchase and can recommend this electric bike. ... show more
