To change the rear flat tire you need a 19 mm open wrench that doesn't come included with the rest of the tools in the box, so you might want to grab that if you don't already have one at home like me because you will need it eventually. Front tire is quick release so no wrench needed Aside from that this is my first E bike ever and it is the perfect starter pack affordable upgrade from my pedal bike. It already comes 85% assembled in the box so it only took me 45 min to an hour to assemble the rest with the help of their own Funhang YouTube channel assembly and dissembly guide, but I found and used another visual and verbal assembly video from a private bike owner, so there are options available if you are visual and can't follow the on paper manual directional guidelines like me. They also have multiple videos to guide you through taking off the front and rear tires if you get a flat. -Battery life is great and what I expected for a $300 starter pack E bike. My ride to work is about 6 miles round trip and I can see it drop one or two battery bars because I use throttle only at the top speed 21 mph combined with cruise control to keep that speed, with a few stop signs and stop lights along the way. But I have taken it on the bike trail on my days off using pedal assists and the battery lasts a lot longer and doesn't drop one bar until I'm about four miles in. Yes to keep the price point low this is what I expect from the battery life and it's all I need to commute round trip to and from work and to ride around the city. But if you want to use it to do food delivery for more than an hour then you'll probably need a more expensive bike over $600 or an extra battery, but that'll be heavy. -Upstairs. The bike weighs over 50 lbs but I don't struggle with it compared to my old 30 lb peddle bike because I put the setting on "Booster Mode" which spins the back wheel only about 4 mph so I hold the bike handle bar by one hand to guide the front and one hand to hold the middle body of the bike for balance and walk the bike up the stairs and the back wheel will spin catching the stair steps along the way pushing the bike up stairs as I guide it. And when I reach the top of the stairs I just hit the brakes to stop the Booster mode. A lot better in the long run compared to carrying my old lighter 30 lb peddle bike daily up and down the stairs. -Charging takes about 2-4 hours on average and that's from depleting 2 bars and having 1-3 battery bars left. I have never ran the battery down completely for anxiety reasons so I cant provide charging times for a fully depleted battery -Brakes are the only parts on the bike that I feel are lacking because they feel too weak especially to handle the top speed of 21 mph. Going at full speed I have to let go of the bike throttle about 1/3 of the block before approaching a stop sign/ light then start hitting both brakes front and rear and it still doesn't brake as strong as I'd like to feel secure. I heard you can take it to the local bike shop to upgrade it to pressure brakes for a very affordable amount but I havent needed that yet. But the brakes definitely feel like regular peddle bike brakes and feel too weak especially to handle the top speed so you're going to need some time to practice feeling out the brakes and find your distance when approaching stops Highly recommended due to the ease and availability of visual online guides to help first time E bike owners assemble and dissemble the bike in less than an hour with all the tools already in the box, aside from the 19 mm wrench to change the back tire flat that's not included. I no longer feel sore from all the road bumps and dips commuting to work because the shocks on the bike does a great job absorbing the strains from bodily contact with the ground. This is the perfect affordable starter pack E bike for pedal bikers to upgrade to because it has everything included to get you going literally. ... show more

My first bike in a long time, and my first e bike ever. I've had it for 2 weeks now and have put over 100 miles on it. Been riding it to work and back, which is ~44 miles round trip twice now. The good: Easy to put together. Controls for the motor are easily accessible and work great. Really has some get up and go when you twist the throttle. Good weight. Sturdy solid frame. Front shocks make the country roads much more bearable. (why potholes, WHY?) Get great distance on the battery with pedal assist. The meh: Can't adjust handlebar height. Replace the seat, just do it. Grips are hard and cheap, replace those, also. (Flathead screwdriver, WD-40 spray, they come off super easy.) Horn is loud...but annoying and probably would get me dirty looks on the bike path. Finding space to attach accessories is a bit of a bear. All in all, this is a fantastic starter e bike. I'm really pleased with it, and it's really helped me enjoy cycling. I never thought I'd look forward to getting on my bike and going, but now I use it to do quick runs to the convenience store, go into the office occasionally, and some early morning rides just to wake up. I attached a rear rack, make sure you get one that is made for disc brakes AND for e bikes. With that I can attach some pannier bags and perform the commute great. I also attached a basket on that rack so I can do small grocery runs with it. The battery is more than enough for what I've been using it for, only on one ride did the LVC kick in, and I had to run on human pedal power. With only 7 gears, that can be a bit of a pain, but still was a great thing. Is it a top of the line e bike? No. Is it a fantastic starter bike? Definitely. ... show more

I mostly use pedal power but when I need a little extra mph it gives that on the electric side. I only wish the lowest setting would maybe go 6mph instead of the average 10. I feel like I lose control at that speed. It is a little heavy but sturdy. The battery life is long lasting. Definitely a good purchase and fun to ride. ... show more

A friend got this bike because the price was very affordable. It was easy to put together and very thing was there. The speed is great for around town. It doesn't take him very long to get across town. The bike is durable for everything he puts it through. It looks very comfortable and he does not say different. He was able to adjust very thing to his height so that he could ride. The shifting he said is very smooth when he goes to shift into the next gear. I would say that it is safe because you can adjust very thing for your height to make it safe for you to ride the bike. It is a great bike for the price and looks nice on the road. ... show more

I'm a casual biker, averaging 8 miles on a weekend ride while also pulling my toddler along behind me on a trailer. I almost always use level 1 assist, I'll use level 2 on dirt paths. Both settings are remarkably easy while still giving me a challenging workout. 4 hours for 8 miles is my average pace, and it never draws the battery below 70%. The build is fine. Tires seem cheap, good adjustability in the handlebars, the pedals are cheap, the seat is worthless and the handgrips can be uncomfortable, but its all totally fine for the price. I didn't bither to use the mudguards. The bike definitely feels like a heavier bike. The suspension is still stiff, but I haven't broken it in very much yet. The brakes seem perfectly fine. Theyll stop fast if you squeeze hard enough. No warping or fading yet and I've been rough on them. The only upgrade I wish this had, is rear suspension. ... show more

Seeing as this was one of the bikes I could buy without getting a red message saying they couldn't ship it to me due to local laws, the bike itself is very nice. It has lots of power with a 500W motor and hits 21 mph with the throttle, which is really nice. The battery is a bit small at 7.8Ah (370Wh), but the build quality is excellent. I've been riding the bike every day for about 9 days now, and the shifting is smooth. I like that it has a 1x gear setup in the front for riding around casually—it makes the bike very fun to ride. The range isn't amazing, but if you're making quick trips anywhere, it's really good. I'm very happy with it and hope this review helps you as well with the information I've given. ... show more

My son absolutely loves this bike. Works great for his age (11) and he will be able to continue to use it as he grows. He keeps the roads hot daily riding. Currently we have had no issues. I wish I came with with a tail light but we just added our own, so just be aware of that and purches ahead of time. It does come with a head light as described. Battery life is actually decent. I love this bike. I already have one but needed a second for my winter home. Its well built. It looks great. Sleek. I got the silver gray. Easy to put together. Comes w lights and a good horn. The gearing and pedal assist ratio works really well. Im 68 years old. Ride everyday. I like its a 26 inch. Its lower to the ground and you feel very stable as to your lower center of gravity. Easy to get your leg over too. Ive added a few accessories. Its a great bike. And for the price ya cant beat it. It doesnt come with adjustable handlebars anymore as the ad had shown. I heard they had issues with it and they stopped doing it. Their ad was not updated yet when i ordered the bike and Ive had to reach out to customer service and they responded immediately and took care of the issue.
