So I purchased this for my brother and he had this to say "As a guy/man who likes to shred this was a great beginner bike. I use the bike to commute to work and to run small errands. I am about 250lbs and the bike does real well. I stay away from the bike lanes due to the debris and have not gotten a single flat. My previous bikes were conventional, and I used to get flats pretty often unless there was slime in the tubes. The fact that I haven't gotten a flat with my cycrown is amazing since that is one of my greatest concerns. I don't like getting stranded, and the costs start to add up. The battery does drain quickly if you ride in full electric mode, but you can extend the life by pedaling a little. This bike would be great for a college student, or any student that has to commute to work. I may upgrade to one of the bigger, faster cycrowns soon. My only problem with this bike is that it squeaked a lot for a while, but the squeaking has stopped abruptly recently" ... show more

Absolutely love this bike!! My boyfriend had been really wanting to ride bikes together but to him I was too slow and I thought I’d just get an e-bike! My boyfriend was the one that found this one and I had to get it! I’ve had it for about 2 months and I’ve ridden all over my town on it with my boyfriend and it’s so fun. Ordered these for my wife and I as a Christmas present to each other, as we have been wanting to get into the e-bike game for awhile. For the price, these are an excellent choice! They are very good quality, look awesome, and built like a tank! They are awesome looking, and one person told me they looked like they would cost thousands of dollars. He was shocked when I told him they were about $500 each. They come well-packed in heavy duty boxes. There is some assembly required such as putting on the front wheel, pedals, handlebar, and front light. You will also need to put air into the tires, but they supply a pump! It actually took me longer to unbox the bikes than it took to build them! If you are even the slightest bit handy, you will have no problem building this bike. Once built, we realized the batteries came fully charged and we were able to ride them right away! The only negative is that the brakes on one of the bikes squeak a little, but I'm planning on cleaning them and getting a slight adjustment that should fix that easily. Overall, a great purchase. Size wise, my wife and I are both about 5'6" and we fit on them fine. I think anyone taller than 5'2" would have no problem. Like I said earlier, they are built like tanks, and weight about 75 pounds each. Luckily they fit nicely along the walls of the garage and we didn't need to hang them for storage. I don't think that would be possible for the average person to lift regularly. The bike has 5 speed levels. 1=10mph, 2=12mph, 3=16mph, 4=18mph, and 5=20mph, which is the top speed. There may be a way to get around the electronic speed governor, but I haven't investigated that yet. If you are a seasoned e-biker and want to go faster, this might not be a great choice for you, but for teenagers or casual riders, the 20mph works just fine. Overall a good bike. Comfortable seat, controls are intuitive, solid build, great suspension. My wish list to make it perfect: 1) wish to have energy regeneration. My commute has slopes that makes the travel distance much less than advertising; 2) wish to have more than one gear; 3) wish the top speed can be higher than 20mi/hr; 4) It's a tad too small for 6'3" tall person; 5) disk brake performance could be snappier. ... show more
