Well what can I say it is the most amazing bike I've ever owned in my life I'm absolutely in love with it I received it early the packaging was wonderful putting it together took me about 3 hours because I'm not mechanically savvy but I got it together on my own I took it for a ride and was blown away by everything it has a speedometer it has six different speeds the pedal assistant is absolutely amazing on four I can't even tell you how excited I am to have this bike I've ridden it in heavy rain it is my mode of transportation and I've had absolutely no problems with it I have gotten it up to 24 miles an hour it's just the Best Buy I took me about 4 months to finally decide on buying this particular bike from the seller $799.99 wow it's foldable the only issue I had was that the headlight did not fit it was missing a washer or something I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong so I'm just going to take it to my local truck dealer and see if he can help me with it the one feature I really really like and I didn't know until my daughter took it for a ride was even if the headlight is not on the brake light still works so every time I push on my brakes my brake light comes on which I absolutely love I rigged it up to where until I get in to get the headlight fixed that when it is on it is an incredibly bright light I wish it found out a little bit more but I'm totally satisfied with it the bike rack didn't quite fit on I had to really work one of the screws to get it to fit perfectly but overall I give this 10 Stars this is the most amazing bike and it would behoove you to own it it's easy to take out the battery and charge it I just can't say enough I did buy an electric tire pump and some saddlebags so I did have to put air in the tires they were only at 11 PSI when I got them but that was not even a problem at all I recommend this bike 100%. It's sexy it's Sleek I get so many compliments on it so many people are telling me send me the link for the price you're getting a very nice bike and it's so much bigger than the photographs and the videos I weigh 260 lb I'm 5 ft 7 and this bike fits me perfectly I will be adding a video and photos later on ... show more

This step through Sohamo ebike is performing better than I was expecting for an electric bike at this price point. It comes less assembled than most ebikes, and that may turn off potential buyers, but for me that was a plus as I enjoyed putting it together. It still only took me about 30-40 minutes from start to finish. It comes with no assembly manual but a barcode on the box leads to a detailed assembly video. All the tools came included, and the ebike was very easy to put together. Pros: This ebike is very powerful. The thumb throttle can give you full power, no matter what peddling assist you are on. The hub motor has plenty of torque, and can cruise up hills with little effort. Brakes are mechanical, but have great stopping power and only minor adjustments were needed out of the box. The Shimano shifter is pretty standard, but works well and again required no adjustments. The plastic fenders are great, rear rack is solid, and folding ability is a plus. The 20 inch tires and small frame makes it a perfect fit for me (5'8") and girlfriend (5'5".) The seat has a lever that will fold up, allowing easy removal of the battery. Cons: The front dampening shock are nothing to write home about. They have no adjustments and just feel like what you would find on a cheap mountain bike. But they do work so I can't complain too much about it. The thumb throttle works well, however it feels a little flimsy like it was made out of cheaper plastic material. The battery (15ah) does not last nearly as long as they say it does, but that has been true with every ebike I have ridden. I can travel 15-18 miles before I start getting dead battery anxiety. Finally, I am apauled by the amount of packaging foam that came in the box. You know the kind that breaks off and clings to everything like white snow? I appreciate that it came well protected, but the amount of non‐recycled materials I had to deal with was terrible in this day and age. Overall thoughts: You get a lot of bike for the money spent on this folding ebike. The build quality is decent and it is fun to ride. I have a much larger ebike that I ride, but I find myself jumping on the Sohamo more often than not. I love the step through design and it's light weight (compared to my other, much larger ebike.) Other than the cheap feeling front suspension, and the garbage bag full of non-recycling materials, this ebike is a good ride. ... show more

Ive been looking for an ebike for a while now and this is the best price bike for the 15ah 48v, took it out for a spin and its good top speed, easy to ride, quiet and pedal assist works great. Still need to see how the battery last but so far first impression is good👍 would recommend

I bought this bike for my daughter to commute to school and work. I did extensive research before buying and this one was the best combination of features, battery capacity and price. So far, about 200 miles, the bike has worked flawlessly. I have made a couple of modifications as seen in the picture. I added a bag to the rear rack to make it easy to carry a lock and other items. I also replaced the seat with one from an old bike we had as the seat had springs which makes it easier to ride the bike on rough roads. The bike is definitely targeted toward the commuter, not performance or fast riding. It performs perfectly at that task though. Battery life is decent, but you will want to pedal along with the motor or else you will use up the battery pretty quick. All e-bikes are like this though. The controls and LCD panel are pretty basic on this bike. It just has a speedometer, odometer and PAS level indicator. One thing that you must be aware of is that you can only increase the PAS level until it loops back to zero and starts over. You cannot go up and then down.
