This ice maker works great. Simple to use. Plug it in, pour in the water, push the button to select "On", and that's it. The ice slides into the basket and that's it. The system stops making ice when either the basket is full or it runs out of water. You'll have to move the ice to a freezer as the unit doesn't keep it frozen. Great for household use. I love water but I like my water so cold it hurts your teeth. The crisp, electrifying taste of ice cold water is the only way I'll drink it. My job has a water cooler and I purchased this countertop ice maker for the break room. This little machine works great. It makes ice real quickly. I have had a similar machine like this in the past that I wasn't impressed with that I had purchased 2nd hand on eBay so I was suspicious of this machine, but this little machine is a power house. After 20 minutes of it being on, I had a full tray of ice. I unfortunately had to return this little guy because it could not keep up with the demand in my office. Not the products fault. It's fast and compact only wished that the water could be externally fed and the ice was better insulated so that if used outdoors it dosen't have to constantly run to keep ice full.

Have had this almost a year and it’s more than paid for itself! Daily use during the summer and into the fall. Every 2 days for the winter! Still going strong! Super easy to use! Have filtered water for it!

    • DONT BUY USED FROM AMAZON
I made the mistake of buying used, in like new condition. It arrived without any paperwork, which it should have had in like new condition. It was also not working at all. Luckily my husband was able to work on it and got it going. Now works great but still wouldn't take a chance on their warehouse after seeing that their customer service was rude and completely unhelpful. Probably would have stopped buying from Amazon completely had my husband not saved the day. Very basic Ice maker that makes plenty of ice for four. Just spring for new and shouldn't be any problem. Update! Right before the warranty ran out it stopped making ice completely..sent back.lesson learned never to buy used from AMAZON again.. ... show more

    • Great Little Ice-maker Had for Several Months
The media could not be loaded. We love this little ice-maker. It makes ice quickly and it’s perfect for our family of 4 to all enjoy ice. As long as you keep up with filling it up with water you will always have clean fresh ice ready to use. This would be nice to bring along camping or for use in a camper or RV. It takes around 8 mins for the ice to finish and it fills up rather quickly. We have had it for at least 5 months and have had zero issues. Well worth the money. ... show more
