Heavy heavy duty. The cups and bowls are huge! I am thrilled with my purchase.

    • Beautiful unique dinnerware set!
Beautiful, unique set that matches the colors I'm going with in my kitchen. Somewhat lightweight for stoneware which is good. The flared edge on the mugs is a little annoying, they're hard to sit properly in the dishwasher and they seem more likely to spill my coffee if I walk around with a full cup... but other than that no complaints. I had this set in my wishlist for over a year before I caught it on sale and it was so exciting to finally get it! ... show more

    • Elegant
Beautiful artistic color and design. Solid hold, not to heavy and not too light. Will only be used for special occasions in my household but could be used as everyday dishes for others or just weekend dishes.

    • They don't overheat in microwave!
I love this place setting! I tried to purchase just the plates, but am so glad I bought the whole set. They are very sturdy, and do not get too hot to touch in the microwave! Also, their customer service is A+. Though the plates are extremely well packaged to prevent breakage in shipment, one of my bowls was chipped on the bottom. They immediately sent me a replacement with no problem at all. So far they seem to be scratch resistant. I have used my steak knives with them, and have not observed any obvious damage. No problem with cleaning. I was concerned the cute raised decorative edging might get damaged over time, so use plate separators to protect them in the cupboard. So far so good! I have had them for 6+ weeks, and am still quite happy with my purchase. ... show more
