For some reason Amazon says this bike cannot be shipped to my address, so, for the record, they never shipped this to my address! but let me say, like WOW, this is probably the best value for the money! Up front I need to point out that it does NOT have pedal assist, nor does it have any means of accessing the display module to adjust settings - they simply ARE what they are and you know what, that's actually BETTER because it keeps it simple and what settings need adjustment anyway? It allows changing between KPH and MPH, and there is a control sequence that places the bike in "stealth mode" or ebike legal mode where it cannot exceed 20mph using the throttle - since it has no PAS, it's technically a Class 2 ebike, though if you think about it, when using the throttle, if you start peddling it will certainly be EASIER and allow you to use less battery - so it's really the same thing without an "impulse" but all that evolved from the fact that early ebikes would have one or the other - a throttle or PAS, but when you blend them, pedal assist is pointless and redundant. Not having it reduces complexity for sure - not speed sensor, no separate, dedicated wire which means it will never fail. The TX1 is basically a dirt bike with pedals and a derailer system which certainly comes in handy if one does have to pedal, but that's a GOOD THING because you always know you can pedal home if you run dry in some remote place. The bike stands tall, with genuine 19" rims and real motorcycle tires which means they don't have paper thin carcasses of soft rubber with no reinforcement. These are motorcycle tires with internal cord, and THICK rubber with thicker traction blocks. How often do motorcycles get a flat from riding over a goat head? NEVER that's how often! Motorcycle tires aren't' any more expensive - probably less actually, and don't require all the input to keep them holding air - like thick plastic belt inserts. While smaller than "fat tires," they provide superior traction - especially off-road because they'll bite rather than float and spin. Front forks are the real thing with ample travel and single, heavy duty spring outback adjustable for preload and rebound. The center of the bike is "all battery" with a giant 60Vx30Amp battery that goes in from the top and latches in with a convenience carry handle. The swing arm is beefy and does NOT need any aftermarket reinforcement to handle the 7KW of ultimate power - got that straight from EKX themselves. The gear system is pretty standard these days, a shift lever and a convenient quick button, but I doubt many people spend a lot of time pedal this bike. In stealth mode, it's a Class 2. They can lift the tail and pin the throttle and it stops at 20mph, or if they put it on a portable roller thing. Unless THEY know the secret control sequence, there's no single button to switch back to Insane mode. It also has TWO uncorked modes - E and S which explain themselves. In E I think it tops out a bit under 30mph, and in S it does the full time - over 50mph which is BLISTERINGLY fast even on a 120-something pound bike! There are electric motorcycles costing $4,500-$7,500 that don't go any faster, nor have any more power! And worse, they don't have PEDALS that can be used to extend range when leisurely puttering along on flat ground - well, the Beachman 64 "ebike" has folding pedals but it's twice the price, though quite handsome with its Cafe styling. But for the $$, this is the bike to buy! Again, EKX has kept things simple by dumping all the extraneous "features" nobody needs nor uses after the first week and locking users out of getting in the display. For those who simply must, there are brands for that. This bike will go beyond 70 miles on a charge when driven "normally" though that's hard to do with ANYTHING using an electric motor. I would imagine if one rode it with the throttle pinned, it would run down a lot sooner but the younger generation understands that and while the old dudes have been standing around with their chain wallets, and 900 pound baggers, head scarves and patch vests - oh, and strap on beards with a fringe of long hair stapled to the inside of their "skid lid," the younger generation has mastered modern technology and adjust their riding ventures to pause for stops where there are 110V outlets and that's everywhere you see a building. ... show more

Front rim spoke broke. battery won’t charge. wobble in handle bars. Bike shop says bearings are shot bike doesn’t even have mile on it can’t get ahold of customer support UPDATE: I was reading the battery wrong I thought 67 was percentage not volts. Battery is fully charging. Company got ahold of me and sent me new front wheel. There located in Hong Kong so responding was slow but managable. Complete opposite time zone. **★★★★★ This Bike DELIVERS — Fast, Powerful, and Actually Lives Up to the Claims** After my experience with other e-bikes that did not come close to their advertised performance, the **TX1 50MPH+ . This thing actually delivers. The listing says somewhere around **6000W–7000W**, and honestly, whichever number it really is, I’m fine with it because **THIS THING IS FAST**. The power is there, the acceleration is strong, and the speed is much more in line with what I expected from a high-powered e-bike. I own several different electric bikes, so I have a pretty good idea of what feels underpowered versus what actually performs. The TX1 definitely feels like a serious bike. It pulls hard, gets up to speed quickly, and the overall performance has been very close to what was advertised. No feeling like I bought one thing on paper and received something completely different. So far, I’m very happy with the bike. It’s fun, powerful, and actually gives me the performance I paid for. **If you’re looking for speed, this one does not disappoint.** My only real complaint is the **seat**. For a bike this fast and fun to ride, I really wish they had included a more comfortable, higher-quality seat. That would make a big difference on longer rides. Other than that, I have very little to complain about. **The TX1 is a beast. Fast, powerful, and actually delivers on its advertised performance.
