The EKWB with active backplate does an amazing job keeping the GPU cool. Asus TUF 4090 OC already had one of the best air coolers for the 4090 series and it was keeping my GPU around 75°c to 80°c. The EKWB with active backplate on the same games with the same settings is almost never goes over 55°c even after running it hard for well over an hour and intermittent burst almost never go over 48°c. I do keep my house a little on the cooler side but still that much of a drop is very impressive. It will both help with the longevity of the card and allow the card to limit itself by wattage and not by the temp. ... show more
