Needed general use t-shirts. I'm 6'1", 165 pounds. A little long in the torso. I bought the large size. These fit very well. They do shrink a little but not much. Value is very good/excellent. I use as under shirts or as light use body cover during Michigan summers. The material is not heavy duty. If you are in construction or physical labor, perhaps a heavier shirt would be better (check out Port & Company).

A Little Tight On The Top

Purchased the Hanes Essentials Men's T-Shirt Pack in Black, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with my purchase. The pack comes with a set of classic black tees, and the quality is fantastic. The fabric feels soft and durable, and after a few washes, they still look brand new. However, I did notice a minor issue with the fit. The shirts are a bit tight at the top, especially around the shoulders and chest. As someone with a broader build, I found the snugness a little uncomfortable, especially during more active movements. It might be worth considering sizing up if you're in between sizes or prefer a looser fit. Despite the fit issue, I still appreciate the overall design and style of these shirts. The crew neck is classic and versatile, making it suitable for casual wear or even for layering with other outfits. The black color looks sharp and doesn't fade easily, maintaining its original richness. I was also pleased with how well these shirts retained their shape after several washes. They didn't shrink, and the collar didn't lose its structure, which is a problem I've encountered with some other brands. In terms of value for money, the Hanes Essentials Men's T-Shirt Pack is undoubtedly worth it. You get a set of good-quality shirts at a reasonable price, and despite the slight fit issue, I would consider purchasing them again in the future. Worked great for making iron-on shirts for friends

I purchased these Hanes essential short sleeve T-shirts to make iron-on shirts for family and friends. I wash them first before adhering the iron-on. They are 100% Cotton so they likely shrank just a small amount but they fit the recipients perfectly after washing. There was no noticeable fading. Because they are 100% Cotton, they do come out of the dryer a little bit wrinkled. These worked great for my iron-on project, the price is excellent for gifting purposes, and the shirts are well made. I'll buy these again.

Great quality material, but too short. I buy extra large even though I'm 5'11" and 42 regular. I do so to have plenty to tuck in as an undergarment to a tucked dress shirt. I guess cost cutting has led to shirt cutting, because now even the xl isn't long enough. If you don't need to tuck, or cover all of your torso, they're fine.
