It has puff sleeves and I HATE puff sleeves. You cannot see it in the product images of this item. And good gravy does it make me look like I’m wearing shoulder pads. Yuck! If you’re like me and puff sleeves make you look like a defensive end squaring up on the 40 yard line, run away from this coverup. If you’re unlike me, and you love the little poofy sticky up bits on the shoulders of all clothes now a-days, you’ll love this! It’s breezy, soft, and light and I really did love the crochet bits. Navy (Round P) Patterned Kimono looks like pic- very pretty. Well made & seems quality but... runs very small! I'm 5"6' & full figured so XXL should've worked especially since had ties!! I'd say the XXL was about the size of a L. Not even an XL really. I wanted to wear it as a cardigan cuz so pretty but it's too small to do that nicely! It comes around each of my sides only a few inches & would look too odd with the ties so far extended on both sides in order to tie it. It's not really made to hang open plus would be too obvious that it's too small for me. Bummer cuz so pretty & nice material & well made. If you want this pattern/color hopefully you're thinner & small waisted ;) Funny tho, the arms fit nicely as did the rest of the garment. The cut was nice. Just needed a few more inches of material in front.

So, there’s a few things. It is really pretty, the material itself was nice and not sheer whatsoever. Definitely a swimsuit cover up in the back. My only grievance with this, is if you are a little bit more on the curvy side then, the front ties won’t bring the front of the cover up together, leaving this weird in-between space in the front. It’s workable, but I wish the material in the front was made with a more expandable material, so the front would close.

I kept it color is wonderful. The size won’t cover you. I kept it. So I can keep it open with a suit and shorts if I need to run in somewhere. I would say it’s 2 sizes smaller then listed. But consider your bust line. I am really big there.

This coverup is very nice, however, it runs EXTREMELY small. The fabric is cotton and not stretchy. So if you want to have it tie in front and cover up your front, go with the recommended size that Amazon makes. I am sending it back and sizing up quite a bit.

I am not a professional reviewer. No one has paid me for this review and I have received no products in return for it. It is my true, honest opinion. I cannot rave about this cover-up enough. It is gorgeous. I have a short waist and large hips, and the double tie in the middle helps give the illusion of a long waist and it doesn't make my hips look big. It is very forgiving. If I had to say a negative thing about it, it is that this fabric needs to be ironed, a lot. You will need to keep it hanging up and it will have to be ironed every time you wash it. I wear tankini tops with bathing skorts at the pool, and I can walk around with this cover-up on even inside around guests and not be embarrassed. I have even thought that this would be cute with a pair of black slacks and a tank top for a night out.

The Kimono cardigan is gorgeous but depending on how you want to wear it it may not run true to size. Personally, I have to order 2 sizes up to be able to tie it.
