Description

The CORE 500 is the first digital stethoscope with high fidelity audio, a full-color display, and 3-lead ECG capture. With advanced audio technology, the CORE 500 defines the next generation of audio quality and provides the most precise sound during every physical exam. - Active noise cancellation, powered by Eko’s advanced audio technology, reduces unwanted background sounds. Up to 40x sound amplification with 7 volume levels increases confidence in what you're hearing. Full-color display shows heart rate, 1-lead ECG, device settings, and Eko AI results (when paired with the Eko App) directly on the stethoscope’s chestpiece. 3-lead ECG capture provides a comprehensive view of your patient’s heart in the Eko App. Wireless listening via Bluetooth-enabled devices lets you use your stethoscope with or without the provided earpiece. The Eko App pairs with the CORE 500 (or any Eko stethoscope) to unlock active noise cancellation, real-time phonocardiogram (PCG) and ECG visualization, and wireless listening. Record, save, and share functions in the Eko App let you share data with a trusted colleague for a second opinion or specialist for follow up (software subscription may be required). Eko AI capabilities are supported by separate Eko AI products. A software subscription may be required to access select Eko App features.

Absolutely love this stethoscope. I cannot recommend it any higher! I’ve been in the medical field for 25+ years, and I’ve always had difficulty hearing with a stethoscope to discern the various lung sounds and heart murmurs. This stethoscope muffles out any environmental noise and allows me to hear with such precision, that I can hear the tiniest, faint crackle or wheeze. Every coworker that’s expressed interest in it, I’ve handed it to them told them to go use it on a patient, and they come back in awe. It is well worth the price, in buying it through Amazon you can do longer payment plans if it’s not in the budget as a solid payment. I highly recommend it. Love my Eko and so glad I splurged and had my name engraved on it. We have a cardiologist that comes from New Orleans to Baton Rouge to see patients and he borrows it every time. Love that you can control the volume. Patients love to see and hear their heart beat and watch their rhythm. I dropped it and damaged it. The policy to replace it was very easy process! ... show more

I have always been a fan of Eko. Got my first Litman Core in 2022 and will never go back to a standard stethoscope again. It' works amazingly. I recently upgraded to the Core 500. A little background, I work outpatient family medicine in a urban area. I see about 25-30 patiets per day in office, predominantly adults but also children and newborns. Pros: - sound quality is excellent. Exceptional filtering. I can hear more precisely than even with my other Eko products. It has helped me pick up on more early heart murmurs (allowing for early testing and early surveillance--including an asymptomatic severe aortic stenosis that was missed by his last provider). My parents really like hearing their kids heartbeat by bluetooth to my phone to allow for audio and I have used it in teaching as well so my student can listen as i'm listening. It's structurally stable. Lightweight--I barely notice the difference between it and my stethoscope. An ergonically works well. Cons - only one I can think of so far is that it's too large to use on a newborn. I have been very happy with my eko products and I appreciate the upgrade to the core 500. 2 other docturs in my office also have them. Most of the doctors here have upgraded to the digital stethoscopes. Most of them are Eko. We love it. ... show more
