Not wanting to pay prices for a rug that would just wind up being owned by the puppers - I took a chance and this is perfect. I was extatic when I opened this up it weights about three pounds and for my Intended use was a great plus, you see I'm a pet owner and have a fairly large service dog I can't always take her out to do "her business" and I use 30 x 36 " pee pads" and I use this type of rug folded in half as a pad underneath "the paper pad" I can wash them everyday or two and replace them when they get "damp" with the occasional miss on the "paper pad" I am a "Senior", senior lady and the heaver rugs are a real strain to lift out of the washer and Into the dryer thisisno more than a big bath towel, which makes my life much easier, This is a "rag rug" so it's not "non slip" not designed for heavy duty traffic nor heavy duty washing, I wash on "gentle" cycle, good detergent used sparingly, and dry on permanent press " extra dry" to use this rug I would use it as an "accent" over carpet and not over wood, tile,etc, "a slip and fall" is just waiting to happen!! This is true of any "non slip" backed small rug! I rated this with 4 stars and will reevaluate after 4 or 5 more washings, but for my use, this is a good looking solution for my use and ease of cleaning is wonderful product, I have ordered 2 more, and probably will order a total of 6 if everything works out !! I'm in the middle of having a puppy " in training" for "service dog duties" for senior citizens!!😇 ... show more

It’s beautiful, colorful but thin and I don’t think it would make a safe rug however a wall hanging, window covering, pet bed, or headboard cover would be excellent. I am covering a padded headboard with it in an India theme inspired room. Recommend for the right application
