I really like this badge holder. I have two cards and after I figured out how to get the one card out it was not to bad. I wish it could hold two cards that I could just flip them out and scan without taking the cards out. I have several readers I have to go through. Well worth the money.

I had to buy one of these because my employers were out of them. I saved about $15 buying it used. I took the necklace off and put a retractable lanyard on so I can wear it on my hip. Mine hasn't broken but a few of my coworkers have broken theirs almost immediately.

Great style, but... I could not slide a CAC-style (PIV) smart card into the clear side. The slots were too narrow. It slid into the black side ok, so the holder is wide enough, but that is the side with the RFID shield. It is not one handed operation, because you can't mount or unmount the card with two hands either. Bad news if security needs to see both sides of the card, or if you need to authenticate to a non-RFID reader on your computer, you definitely don't want this. The only instructions were to not play with the safety release on the lanyard. (If you can't resist, get a fidget toy.) ... show more
