We bought this tent for car camping while we were waiting for our new topper to arrive (we usually sleep on a decked system under topper for car camping). I've got to say, this thing is pretty cool. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy to set up and take down and is super spacious and cozy inside. It's very well-made and provided more insulation during some cold nights (24°-28°) than we were anticipating. It perfectly fits the bed of a 2026 Ram 1500 Rebel with 5'7" bed. I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a truck bed tent, but doesn't want to spend a bunch of money. ... show more

This is SO versatile! It has replaced both our Napier SportCove and our Ozark Trail easy-up canopy (with its wonky legs!). Set-up is a snap and super quick! Enough bug-free room for 2 large camp chairs and a camp table. They include 6 easy & strong magnets and decent stakes. There's also several extra pieces of line and sandbags for wind. (We use those to make our beach Shibumi useable when there's no wind, with a $5 pack of tarp clips). Quality of all materials is excellent. Its even easy to fold up! What a great deal! ... show more

This thing is a nightmare to get folded back up. Had to watch the videos and research a lot to finally get it down. The secret is the direction the opening is facing up or down. This thing tears so easily, very disappointing. You can’t expect someone to fold this nightmare without some scrapes and it shreds the fabric. Currently searching for a better model that is easier to setup and sturdier. This works but it isn’t worth the hassle ... show more

Easy to set up. A little more challenging to fold up, but do-able. I really like this for car camping. I just wish the bottom were attached. I had a chipmunk get into my car through the floor gap. I thought I had it sealed, but without a zipper or something more solid, it found a way in. This lets the breeze through it allows for sight lines all around. It does come with tarps for 2 sides. Wish all three had them for dressing privacy. Overall a good choice for the money. ... show more

    • add a room to your van
I was able to put this tent on the back of our Metris mini van with a Thull folding bike rack and bikes in place. It does take some work to get it around the bike and the hitch, but it can be done. We wanted this to be able to set up in our campsite to reserve our site while we drive off for the day in our van. Although it comes with sand bags we are trying water containers, as water is easier to come by sometimes than sand, unless you bring the sand with you. It is a good but not perfect fit around the bumper. Imperfect mainly due to our hitch and bike rack. We use the storage bag it came in and another bag to fill in the gaps. The magnets are strong, but I plan on getting a few more to help with the gap around our hitch. I was able to put it back to its original size once, but don't think its worth the struggle since we can fit it in the van in the semi-folded state. All the zippers worked well. When you disconnect your vehicle, you just zip and cinch that side closed. It does need to be secured at the four corners and with guide lines for wind protection. It comes with both a tarp for the bottom, and a thin fabric for one wall. I have an extra sunscreen that I can add to a second wall for more privacy. You hang them inside the tent, so they don't have to be super secure, just pull the corners through the loops. ... show more

I will start by saying the quality and functionality was good. It fit my suburban perfectly and holds up great in the wind and rain. It would be better if it had a floor. BUT let’s talk about putting this thing up and taking it down! I managed with some difficulty and profanity to get it up. Taking it down? It took 3 three of us! I wrestled that thing like a WWE champ! We would think it was down for the count and then BOOM! I may have fought like John Cena, but you could definitely see me. The whole campground got quite a show. We ended up 2 campsites down by the time we got this thing in the bag. I’m not sure what wrestling an alligator into a duffle bag would be like, but I think this is pretty close. All the way home I kept expecting it to explode out of the bag like a lifeboat!! I didn’t send it back because I did not want to package it. But customer service was extremely helpful and gave me a partial refund. Who knows, maybe I will get into shape and manage better in the future. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love the size of this. It's going to be perfect for those rainy, breezy, cold fall days at soccer games & practices! I won't miss a thing being able to see readily out of 270°. I could see this being useful for those cold Midwest trunk or treats too. Comes up easily as long as it isn't too windy. Poles for the roof help the tent hold its shape. Comes with two patches for screen and pvc windows, stakes, and 6 strong magnets to hold the flaps it to vehicle. It fit my minivan well and we moved it to the grass to see how it did as stand alone tent as well. Bugs would have a difficult time making it into the tent and comes with the optional tarp for the floor. It's 75°F outside here today and it was very warm inside. Pvc sides are optional so we rolled them up to let the air blow through. this will be a staple for fall sports for our whole family and maybe even friends! I could see 4 adults and a couple kids fitting well; tightly as 6 adults. ... show more
